so yeah, this doesn't sound like a stuck valve anymore, sounds rather bent

I own a 2004 Range Rover and I used seafoam and I have basically the same problem. I have a cylinder 1 misfire. I have tried a new coil, spark plugs and I can hear the injector pulsing I just don't know if it's actually injecting fuel though. So I feel your pain. It may be an internal issue.
