Chiefs Likely Moving to Kansas?

My plan would be build the stadium in Loch llody right on the state line. The field divide at 50yd line, so half the stadium in KS and the other MO. KS side has gambling and MO side has weed. Everyone wins

I’m living in Kansas and have always loved the chiefs would love to see them come over to this side.

It amazes me all the experts dont get it. The vote had nothing to do with the chiefs it was about a royals stadium downtown. Why would people in independence raytown lees summit blue springs vote to give up 81 guaranteed dates a year and the added inconvenience of going downtown? The chiefs should have stayed out of it but if they want to go to ks they can have any victory parades @ memorial hall and fly into topeka. PS the nfl playoff dates have no bearinng in the day the lease expires. If they move i say start demo February 1st.

Born in KS, raised in MO and now live in Denver. Im ok with them moving to KS BUT they better have a natural grass field in that Dome or retractable roof. Vegas, AZ, some Euro indoor soccer stadiums have roll in/out natural grass fields so make it work.

As a someone from Kansas, I wouldn’t mind seeing them move to Kansas. But ultimately I’d rather them stay at Arrowhead for as long as possible. Really doesn’t matter to me which side of the river they’re on. Just as long as it’s in KC.

Honestly if you live anywhere near there it's not that big of a deal. They're not moving that far and if you're a part of Jackson County you should be happy. You don't have to drive far to go see the Chiefs and you don't have to cover the taxes. Win Win

As a Jackson County resident who voted to keep the Chiefs, I think it's for the best that the Chiefs to go to Kansas. Jackson Co people don't deserve them.

Are the Chiefs leaving Missouri and going to Kansas?? I was expecting Missouri more specifically Jackson County to want to keep them. How long does Missouri get to match the offer from Kansas to the team?? I thought the team had control of Arrowhead Stadium 🏟️.

I think the leadership of Kansas City and the state kind of dropped the ball here. Took the Chiefs for granted. I think. They left it up to a bunch of grumpy taxpayers who didn't want to pay for something downtown. They didn't see the big picture and ever think they could actually lose the team over this. Stunning really. And Kansas was in a shape to jump on it. Isn't it amazing what bipartisan agreement can do? Too bad we don't have that in other areas

Sometimes you get what you pay for. 3/8th of a penny saved does what for Jackson County residents? Jackson County & Missouri political leaders have demonstrated no vision. In politics a newly-elected person can do something different or do the same old thing. Doing the same thing is safer & easier. Vision is in short supply these days.

Anyone who thinks that this is anywhere near a done deal is extremely gullible. How do you know that the teams aren't just using kansas for leverage with Jackson County? We don't even have an exact location.

I just want them to stay at Arrowhead. There will NEVER be another stadium like Arrowhead, they just aren't allowed to build them like that anymore. I don't want to drive farther and pay more for tickets.

Look – Missouri isn’t going to keep both teams at this point. There’s just too much money being offered by Kansas, one of them is going to take it. I predict the Chiefs will be in Legends and the Royals will be in downtown KCMO.

I would like to see the teams stay in Missouri. It isn't right to put extra taxes on the people when the owner is getting richer from it. If you want extra taxes give the people free passes to the games.

Rebuild arrowhead, don’t abandon the rich history of that stadium. It will be the end of the dynasty!
