I’m so glad I found your channel!!! I’m so sick of watching these “watch me clean this disaster” and literally they have 3 pieces of mail on the counter and a Starbucks. Hope you don’t take offense to that! I feel this is what half of homes really look like.

I gave my children's bedrooms a deep deep clean got rid of everything they didn't play with or want. I have a rule now if they bring something out of their room they are to take it back and put it away, anything laying around goes in the bin it's working so far, I have started on our bedroom nothing belonging in a bedroom has to find a place in the house or it's gone. Walking into those rooms brings me peace and I know the rest of the family are enjoying how calmer I'm feeling. It's a long journey I know I will get to the end.
  • Just got my home back, my mom had been living with us for the last two years, she is not disabled, and is 68 years old, she just wanted to live with us so she didn't have to cook or clean. She made a huge mess and it was too much for me, my hubby noticed she was being emotionally and verbally abusive towards me (he works graveyard so he sleeps during daytime and doesn't get to see or hear a lot) he finally saw a lot when he got covid and had to stay home. So he told her she needed to find another place to live. My younger brother who is 43 went with her. Now we are going through both of those rooms and the bathroom. It feels good to declutter all of the stuff they left behind and to deep clean everything. Even washing the walls. It is like Cleaning out the negative feelings and letting go. Also the house is feeling so much airier and lighter. The energy is positive.

I am a full-time caregiver. I operate on 2 to 4 hrs sleep.always exhausted mentally and physically throw in there health issues of my own ...I'm sleep deprivation poster child.I also know how blessed I am to be able to push and take care of my beloved as he slowly fades away. I had 3 children, all grown and I don't recall ever feeling this exhausted..I want to thank you for inspiration after a hard week..even if I get one corner clean it's a push forward...and forward is good. I should never compare myself to others .we all have our struggles and our own full plates 💪💝🌞🙏🕊🥰
  • Thank you for these videos. Between my anxiety and depression, I really struggle with cleaning my home. My OCD makes me think that if it can’t be 100% perfect, I can’t do it at all. I was just able to tackle a really embarrassingly bad part of my kitchen- something I’ve been putting off for months. These videos give me encouragement to get things done little by little!

Thank you for normalizing the struggle with being scattered as a mom. I can so relate! (Particularly with letting a suitcase sit for far too long before unpacking lol 😅😂) I’m also working toward minimalism, which is likely why this video was recommended for me. Thanks for sharing your real life progress!
  • Thank You for your video I suffer from PTSD, Depression with anxiety. I will watch all the ones I haven’t seen, you have given me the strength to realize that I can do this
  • Thank you. From a fellow momma of 4 with anxiety, MDD, PTSD, OCD it can be rough. In my head I can't stop cleaning, it becomes obsessive. But only God gets me through it

Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family

I go through my house every so often and do small decluttering tasks.. just like the spots that always seem to gather clutter. But as new years resolution I decided to do a major declutter and went through every single space in my house. While you were gone I ticked of the last task on the list which were the kitchen cupboards..I think I'm lucky I have anything left to cook with 😂
  • I'm so very sorry for your loss, Laura. My dad recently passed, too. I've missed you and glad you're back.

  • You are such an inspiration for us woman, I also am I my mid 40s and have been healing spiritual and have most of the same goals as you, it's so nice to be able to follow along with you and know your not alone.
  • @kacyulery9403
I love how you say it will always be there the next day. Bc honestly you can clean it up but it’ll be there the next day regardless bc we cook! Sometimes we just have to say I’m not doing it right now and give ourselves some grace bc it’s never ending! Yes a clean kitchen feels wonderful but it really lasts 5 minutes lol.
  • @annw1395
I definitely didn't think you'd get that much accomplished in one video! Wow! Clear countertops just let me relax!
