After building out my DIY Uhaul tiny house conversion for over a year and a half, we finally start adventuring. In episode 2 of the stealth camp series, we stay overnight at a high-security park-n-fly facility at IAH.

Is the truck stealthy enough to stay overnight in an airport parking lot? Will I survive with low battery in the humid 90 degree Houston heat?

You should pre-stage ALL the things into the back while you are in the grocery store lot. Then the disappearing act is fast.

What I don’t understand what so wrong for living in a truck, car, or a van it shouldn’t be anyone freaking business. Love your videos bro 🙏

This is so interesting to watch, all the other stealth van videos are just tours, but you showed the whole experience over night👍

This is a good place to have some power activated tint. You can change it from invisible to completely white or black if you want. So turn it on for a few seconds, go to the back then turn it off and you dissapeared.

Can't believe he just grabbed those eggs without checking to see if any were broken in the store.

Great video, the Park N Fly attendants were trying to 'catch' you left and right.
  • What an adventure. I know your next mod. A battery power monitoring system. Great idea with the cameras. Liking the bench. Cool hinges. 👍⚡💪🏆🤙

I would not take that truck anywhere near a airport.

Great work. Idea is that the tablet security cameras show everything what about hooking up some loud blaring alarm you could set off by pushing a button if you see someone lurking around the truck? Maybe a perimeter sensor alarm that sets it off
  • Once again the importance of being fully prepared with everything in the rear before stopping at your Final Park-up is so ably demonstrated. Realistically the only thing needing to pass through the Bulkhead should be the Driver.

I’ve been saving for a bus and will make the move in the next couple months, but now, I have a new inspiration. Thank you! Phenomenal job.

Go ahead and take the ride to the terminal. Then, a little while later catch a shuttle back to the lot There's nothing suspicious about coming back and getting into your vehicle. Make it look good with some baggage. They will be too busy with the onslaught of vehicles arriving to take notice. I know a FedEx pilot that wants to do this instead of paying for a crash pad at the hub. Bet he's not the only one.

Awesome vids. Also, is that Mjölnir around your neck? Very cool.
  • Yeah, I’m not jealous. The airport with all its noise and commotion is probably the worst camping site that I could imagine. It does however prove that you are indeed a very stealthy, stealth camper. Perhaps the stealthiest. Too bad about the a/c. It’s gotta require a big battery bank to use that all night long. Maybe you could devise a way to just cool a bed compartment to lighten the load a bit.

  • love the conversion, im looking to save up for a uhaul truck, convert it, and live in it

Amazing bench design! 👏 Better than my roll-out concept with cubby. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Techno now all you need to build is a couch and the dining table that can lower to the couch length and become a bed in case you ever have company stay in your apartment on wheels
