Is Adrien unknowingly HELPING Hawkmoth? MIRACULOUS LADYBUG Theory

Their special powers are related to the animal they are based off of. Ladybugs represent good luck, Ladybug has Lucky Charm Black cats represent bad luck and destruction, Cat Noir has Cataclysm (destruction) What do butterflies represent? What are butterflies best known for? Change. They represent change. A caterpillar starts off as a creature with such little ability and turns into a beautiful, more powerful, butterfly. The butterfly can do things that the caterpillar couldn't. Hawkmoth's power is changing people into something greater based off of their personalities and their emotions. This power was originally meant for good, using positive emotions like joy, courage, and love, but after losing someone he loved dearly, he just wanted to find a way to bring them back. Unfortunately, this lead him down a dark path, one with hate, sadness, anger, fear; all negative emotions. Hawkmoth isn't supposed to be evil, he just wants his love back.

I think that they said in one episode that when you’re older, you can keep using your special power without transforming back....

Its kinda werid how Hawkmoth can aparently "see everything" but, he can't see when Marinettte and Adrein transfrom.

Marinette hasn't been gets akumatized because she is all round positive and Adrian hasn't been akumatized because he is used to disappointment. That's what I think anyway😂😂

Do you know why Hawk Moth trackes Marinette too? He some time saw her, like where she spoke for Adrien or gave him the present. Its like and now read careful: HE SHIPS THEM! Definetly!!!

I bet Adrien and Marinette are always near the victim because of their kwamis. They might be the "trackers" Hawkmoth uses. It makes sense that Nooroo would have some form of communication between the others.

My theory: Hawkmoth, or Gabriel Agreste, was not given a miraculous. It was possibly found in his house. His side superhero power, other then strength, agility, etc, is seeing everything (in paris) but his main power is akumatizing a butterfly, and use that person to create a hero, or in his case a villain.

Ok, here's my attempted answers for all those questions. No.1 Hawk Moth isn't always visible during akuamtisations. After he uses his power, he could de-transform and then come back No. 2 Hawk Moth's battle cry, in my opinion, even though there isn't a background and all that like there is for the rest, is "Fly my little akuma and evilise them." I know it isn't anything like the others, but it seems the only visible thing he does. No.3 Maybe his kwami can sense the feelings. I mean wayz could tell that a negative aura had come around nuru, maybe each kwami has something they can sense linked to their power. Maybe Plagg can sense mass destruction, and Tikki sense creation. About the thing around Adrien and Marrinette, isn't it possible that high school is just a place for highly strung emotions? Looking around schools you are guaranteed to find at least one downhearted person, especially with Chloe around that is. Also, Adrien and Marrinette always seem to be around when anything big is happening, if you get what I mean. Sure, Hawk Moth could be using his son as a pin point, but it is still just as likely for it to be a coincidence.

This is an irrelevant theory but, whatever. Marinette and Adrien are a duo, much like Yin and Yang. But there’s more to it than that, in my opinion. Let’s look at Yin, Yin represents light and it has darkness. This side represents Marinette. She is happy and cheerful, but there is darkness inside her, no? That darkness is her feeling for Adrien. She LOVES Adrien, much like.. Chloe. So, the annoyance she gets from Chloe liking Adrien, is her dark side, whilst she is normally happy. Now onto Adrien. The other side represents darkness, with light. Adrien’s main feeling is that darkness, see, he has no caring parent, and his father is cold to him. Not really a good life. But then there’s the light, that represents his feelings for Ladybug. In conclusion, both characters have balance, Marinette and Adrien are getting a lot of chemistry nowadays. Whilst Ladybug and Chat are as well. I hope you all enjoyed this theory!

I think he just feels when all conditions are fulfilled for a person to be akumatized. To become a target you needs to: 1. Be very angry (other emotions might work to). 2. Have a goal. All his victims knew what they wanted - even the "mistake" baby wanted a lollipop so much, he threw a tantrum before. 3. Put their problem above everyone else's. They don't have to be selfish by nature, it's enough that they only think about themselves during that certain moment. 4. Be stuck. People only accept help from a super-villain if they have no idea how to handle the situation on their own. (or just be more likely to chose the easy way cough Chloe *cough*) 5. This is my speculation, but I think people have to wish for it. Wish for power, wish for a way to get revenge, wish for some kind of ability. Some people are too passive to be villains. I don't think there are many people like that every day, so it wouldn't be strange if Hawkmoth had the power to feel that (this might be a parallel to Cat's hearing). Also, he could be transforming while the butterfly is flying to the victim. Paris is big, it can't fly everywhere in less that 5 minutes. Since we are following the butterfly, we can't see the countdown or transformation. Moreover, you are comparing one of the lesser 5 to the special 2. It's not strange for them to be different. It doesn't mean that I disagree with you, I am just sharing my opinion to help your theory.

Hawkmoths Power is called "Akumatize" Also he knows what people are feeling because his neck thing glows

I don’t think Gabriel is such a bad guy he just wants his wife back I mean wouldn’t you do whatever you could to get the people you love back?

There is an episode called “sand boy” where the person getting Akumitized is a kid they have never seen before. There is also another episode “season 3 episode 2” where the episode starts with a baby that was never seen before getting akumitized but after that kid gets akumitized marrinette’s dad gets akumitized....so....maybe the show doesn’t let us see characters that aren’t rocognized in the show... I think the show only shows us characters that adrien and marrinette know that are getting akumitized

The miraculous holders have more abilities than meets the eye, and if your not careful, you'll miss them. Cat Noir has another side ability. In episode 1, he was able to see in the dark. Him and Ladybug not only have enhanced strength, but they also have enhanced speed and agility. Another side ability for both is being able to jump and run long distances. As for Hawkmoth, his side abilities are almost unknown, although I imagine he would still have the enhanced speed, agility, strength, and the jumping/running thing. The side abilities I have noticed had helped them out on several occasions, but are still a big mystery. It wouldn't also be a bad idea to consider that miraculous holders are able to sense each other. In the episode Simon Says, Hawkmoth once said, "This isn't a good idea. I feel Ladybug and Cat Noir close by.". Master Fu also said in one episode (One I can't remember, sadly) that Adrien and Marinettes' miraculous work in mysterious ways. I would also like to add that since Adrien and Marinettes' miraculous are a little more powerful than the others, they might have a few more undiscovered things.The staff and yo-yo also are quite mysterious. Inside them are trackers, communicators, built-in phones, and more. Hawkmoths' cane thing also doubles as a sword, can store akumas, and can probably do other things we don't know about. Even though this turned out to be more of research essay, this is just my little bit of research to you, and use it as you please. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask.
