The thing i love the most about Bagpipes.....You can crank up yir amps to 11, but you aint ever gonna drown out the bagpipes💖
  • When my daughter was 10 years old her fiddle group from Canada went on “tour” to Scotland. They were so very warmly and when they had played everything in their set they stood there not quite knowing what to do next. So they played Scotland the Brave. The audience went wild, their teacher cried and my daughter said “Mum, I have never heard such loud clapping.” Every kid on that stage could have sprouted wings to soar at that very moment. None of them (or their parents) will ever forget that moment. The Scottish people were so generous and welcoming and happy to share a wee bit of their culture with a group of elementary school kids. It was awesome!

This version of Scotland the Brave is totally badass! And I'm not even Scottish! They should play this at every sports event featuring the Scottish team!

When i was in the highlands around Glencoe i stood there it was so quiet but you would swear you could hear the pipes and drums coming over the hills, they have always brought tears.

LOVE THIS!!! My husband is a piper... didn't take it up until he was well into his 40's... even now at 68 he can still bring tears to my eyes when he plays Amazing Grace... proving you can take a Scot out of Scotland, but you can't take Scotland out of a Scot. 💗

There is something about bagpipes that goes right to my heart and a man in a kilt goes somewhere else!!

There is something truly unique about men in kilts and bagpipes. This is our heritage and we should be so proud of the men here. I've seen them.perform live and it is truly spine chilling wonderful something you will never ever forget as long as you live xx I
  • Tears here too. It reminds me of my late, sweet husband who looked so precious in his kilt.

This presentation was bloody brilliant! Whomever came up with the idea to mix this song with Queen deserves a huge round of applause!

Remember when I was 17 (my first job) in Belgravia, London, and the Scottish pipers used to march to Buckingham Palace, no how much you tried, you could not help but walking in time with them. Have loved the pipes ever since. (65 now!)
  • @Brian5105
Now that is the most beautiful music and sound anywhere in the WORLD!
  • I'm English, but boy I love how patriotic the Scots are. The bagpipes are a mesmerising sound, mixed with Rock.....Freddie would have said "I love it, darlings". We miss you Freddie 🤘

Whoever thought of mixing my national anthem with Queen is a musical genius!
  • I'm not a Scotsman nor Scottish. But everytime i hear this and the Braveheart Theme, it soothes my soul.

No Scot in me, as far as I know, and I've loved the bagpipes since I was a kid - the strong emotions that they, for some reason, evoke. Friends of the family, who are Scottish, once had this huge bash for their wedding anniversary....and my brother-in-law secretly requested that they play Amazing Grace for me on the pipes....what an awesome surprise, I'll never forget it! Years later, the same group played Amazing Grace on the pipes again at my brother-in-law's funeral....will never forget that either. Thank you, Scotland - may God be with you, in Christ Jesus.
  • I have watched this probably a hundred times!! Never gets old...if I'm feeling a little down this is a sure cure!!
