If there is one vintage Masters of the Universe toy that is always broken, it's the Battle Bones carry case. The clips on the ribs are most often snapped off, and without those the 'carry' part of the set no longer works. It actually makes it pretty useless as a toy.

So today I take on the challenge of repairing the clips and getting the Battle bones working and ready to hold some of my Skeletor Army!

Love this one. Even back in the 80s/90s I saw only broken Battle Bones.
  • @sithcarebear1
I honestly couldnโ€™t tell it had been repaired at all. Brilliant!

This is one of my favorites that you've done, Dave. Great fix for a super common issue. Off to find some broken battle bones!

turning your shavings into a paste! WELL DONE!! that is awesome!
  • @TheRetroTinker
Also, there arenโ€™t many people who just happen to have twelve Skeletors to fill up their battle bones. I love it!

Ylu fo a great job, enjoy watching you repair the toys from my childhood. Awesome.

Masters of the Universe used ABS plastic, that's why MOTU playsets snap or develop cracks over time. Also it is very common to see 70s/80s Toys with thin shapes snap easily. This tutorial was great.

The wizard back at work allways amazing what you can do
  • @namelessjedi2242
I would have thought those were broken for good. Great repair idea and execution!

What a nostalgic flashback you gave me with this repair. Back in the early 1970s, before modeller's putty came along, mixing Polystyrene Cement with plastic shavings was the only way to fill-in seems and gaps on one's models. Thank goodness for modern equipment. Cheers. Such a fine job.

Okay but a Battle Bones FULL OF SKELETORS is legit one of the coolest things I have ever seen!! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

This is possibly some of your best work. Some of the hardest repairs involve pieces that NEED to flex and need a sense of durability again, and you absolutely NAILED it. Although, since you didn't find the Battle Bones in the forest while you were walking (and filming) the credibility of this video is in question... lol Great vid as always!
  • Maybe a little bit of some red in the paint but as usual, a very top notch and smart repair!!!!๐Ÿ˜
