Moral of the story, no matter what archetype you wish to play, please for the love of everything holy, pull for Ruan Mei

Now that I have enough 5 stars I should keep this in mind rather than do random bs go with stuff that don’t work well together 😂

Thank lord I pulled Sparkle, Ruan Mei and Robin. Now I can pull almost any dps and make them work smoothly 😂. I'm completely ignoring dot tho...

I got Ruan Mei last night, today I fought Sunday for the second time (the real one in the storyline.) with my firefly team (Firefly, HMC, Gallagher, and now Ruan Mei) before Ruan Mei, I was using Asta... Don't do that... Pull Ruan Mei, it's for your own good. If Asta gets touched by a butterfly, she will die. If Ruan Mei can take massive hits from bosses. Asta speeds your characters up (which tends to be rather insignificant) Ruan Mei keeps your enemies broken (which let's you get more super break hits in) Asta (unless her ultimate is used ) HAS to deal some kind of damage. Ruan Mei's buff doesn't deal damage directly to targets, making things like the sentry bots on the 3rd planet and the swarm thing in the Herta Space station much easier to deal with. So, if you're not interested in firefly, already have firefly, or care more about practicality than having firefly (I'm a fan) GET RUAN MEI WHILE YOU CAN!!!

I'm glad I invested in quantum supports like Sparkle, Silver wolf and Fu because Qingque is my favourite and now that I have her full team, she feels great to play. Other than that super break is a ton of fun so I invested a lot in Firefly and I also built my Sushang for some variety. I need to work on my pure fiction teams now cause my Himeko and Herta kinda suck.

I think when it comes to team building, it's really about focusing on what you want and that usually requires you to ask yourself several questions and which takes priority. Do you want to build a team with a character you like (either built around them or just including them)? What do you want to accomplish (MoC? Pure Fiction?)? Is the team you're wanting to build redundant to other existing teams you already have (break, DoT, damage, follow up, type, etc)? Depending on the answers and which takes more priority in your own personal enjoyment of the game, it can help you determine who to pull for and who to invest in. It's not that pulling for several random different characters won't help you but it is a long-term goal vs. short-term goal because every character can eventually be useful but the question is how useful are they to you now? Building out even one team takes a very long time (unless you're whaling) from farming traces to getting relics, so it's important to prioritize what you want to do and why.

Related Tip: Sorting your preset teams into these types can help organize things mentally and enable you to focus on where and how you're investing in them.

Already have one team set with the Break effect team and I have the premium one at that. I really want the DoT team next or if Acheron rerun comes around, then than ofc since she's the only missing character for me. great video to help for newer players like me!

I have my method of going for a universal team with all game modes with Acheron while depending on DHIL hyper or follow up aoe for specific modes. Choosing a fun team to deal with moc/pure fiction with a current meta team is the best way to diversify playstyles but also be very effective for building and resources needed.

If you like interesting narratives and want an example of the unique structure that narrative can take in a video game, play "13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim." Fun meta-game for Acheron/Beidou fans: try to figure out which character is voiced by Allegra Clark without checking the credits. Then realize that she voices that character's younger version too when she's revealed. That range is downright insane...

Is amazing that both firefly and acheron basically changed the way star rail was played, for firefly case she made very strong an already good team comp (because it was good with boothill but insane with firefly), and acheron making a category herself for theb inmense dmg output she can provide, just amazing. Also, a game id recomend playing is Holocure, and i love your vids moon

I hope to get Topaz for my Follow-up team. I want to try to build and use that team. I already got DoT, Break, Acheron, and some Hypercarry teams. It also seems fun with Robin as she sings while everyone else just throws stuff at the enemies. Sadly, I don't have Adventurine but will certainly pull for him on his rerun.

I started hsr about a month or two ago on aventurine and decided to get robin and topaz and my account is doing so well and Im currently saving for dot and topaz e1!

Everything you said was on point. I have been playing HSR since the start, and honestly, no team type felt like it was MY style until Acheron and Break metas. Acheron is the only DPS character that has a true ultimate. When it activates, enemies disappear. So, I want to build the best team possible around her. Boothill sold me on break meta (Firefly is in a suit. Her team type didn't matter. I had to have her). I love super break, so those are the 2 team types I'm focusing on.

I personally recommend you focus on two different archetype (one for each side of the endgame modes). Of course early game only focus on one of the archetypes that you like the best. That way you don't have the problem of wanting the same Support character on two different teams (I ran into this problem when I decided to build Boothill and Firefly. Now I just switch the two depending on the enemy and don't try to run two break teams in endgame). As for a game recommendation let's go with Hades/Hades 2. Fantastic stories with great combat. They're some of my favorite games of all time.

Just started playing right as the Robin banner was ending. So I pretty much went all in on the break meta comp with both Boothill and Firefly. I was also lucky and pulled a copy of Bronya from the newbie recruit banner which cemented my decision for going break. My wallet has been bamboozled but I have what I need to blow through story and hopefully most of the other side content as well.
