The one many have been wanting. Sorry it took a while. It's been over 3 months and the reason why its that long is because i totally forgot about the score lol. To beat this big mofo, you have to have a good shield and hailstorm missles. It's really hard to figure out how to beat him at first but once u get the hang of it, u will be a pro at beating this giant. This score is one of my favs :)

I remember when I first played this game. I didn't know Tidal Wave was a character, having never watched the cartoon. So I thought I was infiltrating a generic Decepticon ship (also having missed his giant face on the inside. That was a nice touch). Then the cut scene started and my jaw dropped. That is exactly why I love Transformers.

Everyone who played this game during their childhood has this song permanently engraved in the back of their brain. Hearing it triggers PTSD flashbacks.

Just the sheer size of this guy tells you that you're in for a hell of a fight. The music only emphasizes that!

This track is solid proof that 5/4 is the best time signature for intimidating boss music.

This boss was the dark souls boss of my childhood.

Probubly one of the best boss fights in my life. The setting, the music, the controls, the filling, the power, the danger, the difficulty, the persistens, it was just awsome. I have only played the game on easy, and there I beated him on my second try. First try 1 h 40 min and the second 2 h and 30 min.

Here's a better quote that I heard. Red Alert: Sir, it's Tidal Wave! Recommend you take immediate cover. You've got to destroy him! Density scans reveal that his body is heavily armored, but his head is vulnerable. Recommend maneuvering into optimal weapon range. Do you copy? Optimus Prime: Loud and clear. That's a good quote right there.

Oooooh the memories...one of my favourite bosses in video game history! I always remember the first I faced Tidal Wave: seeing him look at you in disbelief before waving his finger at you as if to say "You've got no chance." I had the incredibly brainy idea of flying TOWARDS him to shoot his head before he punched me! Judging by other comments, seems like he does that when he's really close to you on a tiny island too. Felt bloody good to beat him though. xD

Optimus Prime: Take cover! It's Tidal Wave! You've got to destroy him! His body is heavily armored, but his head is vulnerable. His height will make it difficult to attack. Try manuvering into optical weapon range. I think that's how it goes.
