From an outside perspective, the term "data analyst" seems hella involved and complicated, but an inside look (along with the course I'm taking) just seems like data analysis is investigative skills, paying attention to detail and making logical connections with the data you have. As a naturally analytical person, I feel like data analysis should have been my calling in life.. It still may be, we'll see.

I will fight the productivity community on this one: You can wake up late and STILL be productive. I don't care if it's not glamorous, waking up at 8:30-9 is what works for ME. I'm so glad that I see another productive person who wakes up at a reasonable time.
  • "I threw out my back when I was Deadlifting my heavy ass Ego" LMAO love the authenticity and humor your videos have!

Much more relatable than someone who wakes up at 5 or 6, makes it more entertaining and useful insight into not being the only one!
  • I am a data analyst myself but this guy's daily routine seems to be much better than mine. I wake up at 8 to 9 or even 9:30 am if working from home and then run straight to my office run and jump on the laptop/desktop. Play around couple of excle sheets, check emails and do daily call. Then when it is time for Python code, I just run the code which can take many minutes and during that time I just watch YouTube vidoes. Then take many breaks to watch more YouTube videos. Lol, I am being honest!

This is so cool! I'm glad that you look so calm and free despite the busy day. Excited for you to travel the world! There's nothing better than working freelance or having your own business - you OWN your life. :)
  • That's really cool how you documented all of this. I came in just looking for data analyst infomation but you made me want to get more done throughout the day.

This is such an inspiration. I just started working as a data analyst. I was afraid that I would be miserable, but your routine in this video has really inspired me to emphasize my own health, productivity, and general enjoyment of life. I just want to say thanks and wish you luck towards achieving your goals.

" i wake up at 8 am" *the clock on the phone shows 5 pm *
  • I'm a data analyst in the non-profit sector and I swear that AT LEAST 50% of the time I'm either revising data integrity or explaining to a stakeholder why the data provided is wrong/damaged.

First time seeing your content and I was very entertained. You're pretty funny. I used to create dashboards and I remember having to explain often that nothing was wrong with the dashboard, always the data. So I totally can relate. Thanks for sharing your DITD. I'm looking into becoming a data analyst now. Didn't think about the freelance route. So thanks for that. You gained yourself a new subscriber. Thanks.
