My route predictions: Piranha Plant Cove Lap 1: Piranha Plant Cove 1 Lap 2: Piranha Plant Cove 2 Lap 3: Piranha Plant Cove 3 Rome Avanti Lap 1: Rome Avanti 1 Lap 2 (section 1): Rome Avanti 3 + Start of Rome Avanti 2 (The second section of lap 2 starts at the alley to the right of the 'Pizza' sign) Lap 2 (section 2): Rome Avanti 2 Madrid Drive Lap 1: Madrid Drive 1 Lap 2 (section 1): Madrid Drive 3 + Start of Madrid Drive 2 (The second section of lap 2 starts at Retiro Park) Lap 2 (section 2): Madrid Drive 2

Here’s my route for Madrid Drive. Lap 1 - Madrid Drive 1 Lap 2 - Madrid Drive 3, but skipping the building in 6:02 and heading straight towards the Museum. Then turn to the Madrid 2 gate. Lap 3 - Madrid Drive 2 but taking a left turn after the water jump in the building in 6:02. And the rest is just Madrid 2. I think this because the piranha leans towards normal Madrid 3 while the escalator leans towards Madrid 3 r. I don’t think a Tour course has removed part of a lap to add to another lap, but it’s the final wave so who knows. And to simplify. Lap 1 - Madrid 1 Lap 2 - Madrid 3 but skipping a part Lap 3 - Madrid 2 but adding a part

Just wanna say, thank you for being the only one whose Rome Avanti's route prediction doesn't include a new starting line. I also think Rome could be the one city course where you can just use the same starting line for all three laps.

I feel like Nintendo may make this arch at 3:38 a lap point. It works as a good set up for the chain chomps and just looks good. May make lap 2 short, but I’m pretty sure Rome is the longest city track. Nintendo may do this so Rome is around the same length as other cities.

I love how from 5:39 to 6:21 you go on and on about how Madrid 3N is not built to work well in MK8, then when you go to talking about the turn onto Madrid 3R at 6:26 you're just like "yeah they can just remodel it lol" apart from that excellent video

the route ideas are interesting for sure and have no clue how that could be changed for those course since I never played tour but recardless how it will function I will be happy playing them in mario kart 8 deluxe

I could imagine MD3 in 200cc like that… Pretty solid predictions though and yeah Piranha Plant Cove was real obvious

You forgot a part of PPC’s route that goes under the PPC2 stairs.
