    This was extremely interesting even though I am only familiar with a few places here - being born in 1963. I remember Valle's from the time I lived in Portland, Maine during the '90s. Must have caught it during its last decade.

    A lot of these places weren't "fancy" (ie, Tad's. lol). Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic's still exist, and Schrafft's is working on a comeback.
