You've got lots going on there. Good luck with the stratification. Im always hit and miss with it. 😅 Are there any regulations on bringing some of these to Newfoundland?

Idk what you have in mind, but if you burn a poison sumac, good luck with that poison smoke. Idk if your new sumac is poison or not. Not sure what your plan is, but I have walnut trees, they grow pretty fast, give Good fruit, wood stain and dewormer. I'm sorry if I sounded mean, you're probably really nice. But you don't want hedgeapple Osage orange. I'd rather have poison tree than osage. Unless you'll be moving soon and want revenge on the new buyers and your old neighbors. And I'm being very serious, I'm not joking. You do not want this tree. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Osage orange, please no. You think you want this tree but you don't. I have e several on my property, I would do nearly anything to get them uprooted and gone. The firewood value is not worth having this on your property. I cannot say enough bad things about this tree. I feel like a parent telling their kid something that the kid won't learn their lesson until after they do it and it's too late. Your neighbors will take you to court over this tree looking horrible and growing vines into their property and sabotaging them. The vines can't be cut with a chainsaw, you have to use wire fence cutters. I've had to get animals unstuck from the thorny vines. You do not want this tree. Cutting it down doesn't always kill it either. The vines will sneak through the ground and pop up in unexpected places, suffocating your trees and several neighbors down the road. You do not want this tree, I cannot say this enough.
