  • It really aggravates me the critics say he will be to slow but wouldn’t have said that about clingon. Especially since Edey tested faster
  • @sixmike
Coach only touched on it for a split second, but the idea of Edey getting a feel for those Gortat screens and clearing the lane for Ja is getting me hyped

One thing that everyone has missed on is Edey's heritage. His mother is Chinese and if properly marketed by the NBA the Chinese Market will explode for Edey, I believe he also speaks some Mandarin so anticipate a push by the NBA/Memphis into that market. Big $$$$$$ for all.
  • I compared Zach to Joel Embid, he will be dominant in NBA and that's will be the regrets of some NBA team to pass him, they have the same shooting capability and same moves, they say that Embid is slow but now look at Embid he is dominant center in NBA
  • Edey is good, and definitely deserves being in the NBA. Purdue got cooked by UConn's guards coming off screens. I don't know if it was him or the coaching, but they had wide open jumpers and floaters all night. Cligan moves better defending guards coming off screens.
