We’re in Milwaukee where amongst the sea of red MAGA 2024 hats, some delegates are sporting fake white bandages on their ears - a nod to the injury that Trump sustained on Saturday night’s shooting.
Millennial Vice President hopeful J.D. Vance has made his first speech to the nation and reaffirmed his loyalty to Donald Trump - a change since calling him ‘America’s Hitler’ eight years ago.
But has the assassination attempt actually helped Donald Trump on his campaign? Will President Joe Biden definitely be the Democrat standing against him? And what’s the deal with all this new-found unity?

I hope you guys read this that are on here that are speaking. I'm voting on the policy's and for Trump for the 3rd time in a row. My 68 year old retired husband just had to go back to work. Kids are moving back in with parents, older parents moving in with kids. Our border was secure. We could afford a vacation. Illegals are living in hotels and our unemployed and veterans are living on the streets. He's not a convicted felon because we don't even know what the crime is. Three different areas didn't see any reason to put Trump on trial, including DA Bragg. That SCOTUS ruling also helps Biden and his crime family.

Could it be… and this is just a question… that “some” (not all) people that are from Europe are very skeptical about Trump… and also criticizing him because of His America first policies. I believe fear can bring out the worst in some people. I believe as a minority from NY that something has to change.

Let's hope he has. But his trackrecord points the other way. It was a terrible thing we saw. And luck it didnt have another ending. But, still he is authoritarian and his policys will harm the already barely functional American Democracy. Let us hope it will change.
