Street sharks is honestly my favorite toy line. They need to make a movie on the sharks
  • @tonyangelo
The toys were what got me started on Street Sharks. I had all four main Sharks. I did see the cartoon, but after i bit my sister pretending to be a shark, my mom forbid me to watch it. Nowadays, even though my heart is to Ninja Turtles, I still have a soft spot for Street Sharks. Ripster was my favorite.

I accidentally discovered street sharks on YouTube. When I was 7 I found one of the commercials on YouTube and thought these action figures are so cool. So now every time I go to a vintage toy store, I look for street sharks.

What you unfortunately often don't find anymore is the ingenious packaging of the Toyline. So just when it comes to the sharks. The design was a shark cage. The front was made of plastic bars and the rest of cardboard.

Cool collection! These are some of the most eye-catching sculpts of any toy line. To find them in great condition is really rare, though.
  • man this brought back a lot of memories. I remember having the base ripster, the boxer slammu, the streex with the metal hockey stick, the ripster with the motorcycle and the trex from the xtreme dinosaurs. I remember having a vhs tape that had the first 1 or 2 episodes on it that i would watch all the time. Another knock off line i was crazy for when i was little was a transformers knock off but they turned into dinosaurs instead. I had the whole set.

I had the T-Rex Extreme Dinosaur... dang thought that was a Street Shark before this video!! Thanks for correcting my childhood memory haha
  • @GoodGuyNero
For some reason crustaceans allways seem to look really good in monster form, Ebirah from the Godzilla movies is a good example of what i mean. Might be why out of all of these i like Slobster the most.
  • @Carlos_Balli
So much to process in this video from the crazy looking bootlegs to Vin Diesel Hocking Street Sharks You’ve Out Done Yourself in this one 🦈
  • @GamerAhmer
Great video! Awesome collection!! I didn’t have very many of these back in the day but I remember seeing these everywhere!!
  • @DannyOvox3
I did not know about Street Sharks until one day after school my mom took me to the dollar store and I found a Street Sharks DVD. I was about 11 at the time and the year was 2004 so the series was already over for a while.
  • @Thraka5
I guess it is because im a huge steet shark and extreme dinosaurs fan, but I watched this episode when you first dropped it and i still find myself coming back to watch it. Thank you for your hard work!

I like to point out that Dr. Paradigm’s name is pronounce as “para-dime” in the show.
  • @RetroCynical
I always thought the hand puppets were the coolest and I never had one. Great video Ed.
  • @16bitgium
Excellent video! I actually never had a toy from the streetsharks but I did watch the cartoon back in the day.
  • @LordOfClarkness
Just stumbled across this. Cool collection! I loved street sharks as a kid as well. But the only one that survived and is still with me is good ol' manta man. Still would love to get my hands on a handshark!!
  • These are cool! Gonna have to keep an eye out for some for the kids to play with alongside their motu and turtles. Great video Ed!
