Rare and ready to add to your interior. This antique Chinese Wedding Chest is perfect for storage with style. Consider it for a dining room as a bar, a living room as an entertainment center, or a bedroom to store linens, clothing, and more. This 72" high Chinese antique has two doors, shelves, and a removable false bottom storage trunk. The shelves are not only removable, but they also come with a clothing hangar rod, allowing you to customize the interior to your needs. It was found and restored by our artisans in Northern China. It's 60-80 years old and restored inside and out. The condition is good; the gold line art painting is exquisite and nicely detailed. The bottom of this cabinet has a carved panel depicting two dragons chasing a fiery jewel, symbolic of wisdom ( Dragon ) and Truth. This solid wood cabinet is made of hardwood, and the base color is an aged cinnabar red lacquer. The large hand etched Brass round medallion door hardware has door pulls and lock pins. Another feature is a removable center door frame that, when removed, will allow wide items to enter. This rare Chinese Antique collectible measures 43" Wide x 21.5 Deep x 72" High.
