That's why I've been trying to get my "emotional support pet rocks" business off the ground. I call it Pebbles 4 Problems. It's been a rocky start...

"This dog screams. Like human screams" Oh, so it's a husky.
  • "We can't keep doing this thing where we conflate talent with character." So very true!

“So, when I fall off my pedestal, I break my ankle and not my neck.” words to live by. I was sleepin’ on Josh, but dude’s really funny. Keep it up man!!
  • @poliltinktink5343
This dude is the definition of "Under-appreciated genuis." Imagine doing your same job everyday, but always leveling up.

"if someone can sing doesn't mean they're MLK" 😂
  • @LS-sg8rb
"We conflate talent with character. We gotta to be careful of people who seek power and fame, and then we act surprised when we see their worst sides." 👏👏
  • @Elmerphant
Please don't change the end to the anxious dog joke. I fucking love that you just let it die and then move onto Lizzo. It brings me so much joy!

OMG somebody give Josh a Netflix special! He's gonna have an hour's worth any day now. #1 underappreciated comic IMHO.
  • @BuruIgeru
Ok, this is probs first time I'm joining in this chorus, but I deeply appreciate how Josh manages to alternate between the profound comment on an issue and then bait-and-switching it with a hilarious/offbeat point afterwards. Really harkens to the best of previous generations of comics while speaking to this current age.

"We pull our role models, heroes, and positive influences from people we already like from doing other stuff" that is well put.
  • @Whoknows-mf1cv
Josh is basically the weekend report, the daily show, last week tonight all rolled up into one.
  • @may.k_me
"We can't keep doing this thing where we conflate talent for character" I think that was probably the best thing he said In a serious manner
  • @dontletmebrown
Love that you aren't going for forced punchlines and chasing big laughs every single second. Low key/laid back comedy like this is underrated.
  • This guy is truly a working comedian. He's on stage like everyday with new stuff. Definitely think he's gonna make it big!!

Whoever let that lady adopt an anxious dog for her husband is wrong for that 😂😂😂 I’ve never been to a shelter when they employees/volunteers didn’t know the personalities of the animals there. They must have wanted that fella out of there so bad 😅😅😅

It's very tempting to form parasocial bonds, but you have to remain critical of people you don't actually know. That said, there are levels of transgressions. I forget the terminology but I think people are quick to feel "betrayed" and jump to cancellation because they forget that stranger is another person and not simply a reflection of their opinions or what they project onto their idol.
