I'm not going to lie, I would never want to do this myself, but watching you guys do this is incredibly fascinating. I've been enjoying the series!!
  • @apple4tammy
First, Leah, you are gorgeous at any angle. Second, yes to all the funky laundromats! Love that we see the reality of car sleeping. It ain’t always a glamorous thing. And I think you found your stealth camping motto- act natural!! Love ya from the Abbotsford lady!
  • @krispy777
I laughed so hard when Leah stuck her arm out to “nothing to see here”. That’s my kind of humour too.
  • @ngeejee
This is what you need to do to get the running lights turned off 1. Stop car, put on the e-brakes 2. Turn off the car. 3. Turn the car back on without releasing the e-brakes. Done. Running lights are out until you release the e brakes.

Please do a homeless advocacy vid about how "expensive it is to not have a house." We need more awareness around this important subject.

You're probably already out of Portland, but as a local who also Vanlifes and stealth camps, i would have totes given ya parking space! There's a whole network of us with parking spots for folks. I hope you enjoy Oregon and lemme know if you want great free camp options around the state ;)
  • @Amyjwashere
One thing is, people will generally ignore you on a regular basis. I live at the end of a street, and rv campers will be parked here for like 4-5 days at a time and nobody is bothered. So long as you’re quiet and respectful who cares 😊
  • Love your content. I have a 2015 prius. I'm a full timer out of choice. I love the lifestyle. It forces me to be outdoorsy and social. I spend the majority of my money in cafés and fine restaurants. Anyhow, tell Leah the best way to refreshin up in the morning is a fancy $2.00 spray bottle at target and spray your face. It fills good and wakes you up!! Toodles..
  • Pull the emergency brake to turn the running lights off. We needed to learn that one when we went to a drive in movie theater
  • I just wanna say that I have been loving this trip! All the ups and the downs are good to watch. Thanks for not just presenting the good bits.
  • @WookieSenshi
Having a nice rewards credit card with no foreign transaction fee would have made all the money stuff much easier. Haha
  • @Tiffany.132
The daytime running lights will be off if your emergency brake is on when you turn off the car, then turn it back on. We do this at driveins!
  • @heathercamera
You guys are so awesome!! Love what you’re doing and the fantastic attitude you have throughout!! Even through the heat and headaches! 💗 Much love.
  • @edwardmohs435
thankyu canada for sending your youthful enthusiasts to our country love them
  • @olddotcom
I've been having the same problem as you when it comes to leaving your AC on to run your AC or heater all night. Kept hearing from others who are doing it. Finally found the secret. With your car off, apply the emergency brake first. Now start your car normal again. Lights off. lol
  • How do you guys manage toileting if you aren't near a public toilet? Always park next to bush to go in? Do you use a toilet right before camping down and then drive to a toilet first thing when you wake up? I can't make it through the night without needing to go so I'd always need to be next to a toilet I feel
  • @donzinette
You guys are a hoot. Love following your journey :) And it's so fun to see you camping at the Deschutes river. Many moons ago I went rafting on that river. The guy leading us even did a back flip off the side of the raft when we got to a calm part - a great memory.
  • If you had a Tesla you could use camp mode and be as warm or cool as you wanted to be and no-one would be the wiser. I stealth camped one night in mine, worked great.
  • This one's more for Leah. You mentioned you're finishing your period (sympathy! Starting mine now!). How are you finding dealing with your cycle on the road? From the period, to the pains, to the cravings, all of it. Do you guys try to plan any days/nights around it (like your worst time maybe decide to stay at a park or air bnb, making sure you're stocked on your period food, etc)? I personally use a cup, & occasionally panties. But I couldn't imagine trying to handle driving & boondocking with just disposables. Any leaking tips for travelers might be helpful. This could probably play into a video like y'all mentioned, about hygiene, cleaning, sunscreen, makeup, deodorant (how rude, "green taxing", ugh). And, hooray for Stranger Things! I hope you give a non-spoiler reaction when you're all done! It's so good, love that show. Have fun! Hope you keep enjoying more. Take care with the heat as you go further south (I'm in S. Arizona, it's HOT, but we're starting our monsoon season, yay!)! 💕

That’s what I love about the two of you sometimes you have no filter!❤️ I always have a good laugh when I watch your videos. Yes I have stainless steel insulated cups as well and I would never go back to a standard cup. Thanks for all the great videos and Levi I’m glad you’re learning how to run the AC for your comfort at night! #ItMeansAHappyWife❤️
