You know you’re German when you look at the Erbseneintopf and actually think it looks alright 😂

There is no delicious military rations in the world. But there's no military rations that you don't need. - CAPT.AHN - I respect all soldiers who take preservatives for their country today. We'll be mummies when we die.

You know, the "Hartkeks" or "Firm Biscuit" is sometimes also called "Panzerkeks" which literally translates to "Tank Biscuit" and they got their name because sometimes you could drive them over with a tank and they would not crumble because they are so firm
  • @MRetoastet
The biscuits are lovingly called "Panzerplatten" here. It translates to "tank plate / slab"

We have a saying in Germany "Der Hunger treibt's rein." which means basiclly "If you're hungry you'll eat anything".

Josh and Ollie on every single one of those things "ugh, no, that is horrible" Josh at the end of the video "Overall, not bad"
  • "There's visible peas in there as well" is probably one of the most british things I have ever heard, since it is my impression that british people boil all peas to the point of disintegration.

Between ollie's silly personality and dumb little comments (goofy), and Josh's contagious laugh, I think I've found my favorite channel

"this is the German army's greatest weapon" me, looking at the state of the Bundeswehr: "you might be right"

„it’s almost like the german army doesn’t want anyone to join them“ well you’re not wrong

I remember when I was in the Boy Scouts of America, my troop and I had MRE's that were older in age than we were. An example; we used the brownies to hammer our tent pegs into the ground and the brownies stayed intact.
