HxH FOREVER. I STAND WITH CONNOR
  • I love how this went from “which anime is better” to “which anime is finished” “Frieren can’t be GOAT because it’s not finished” -Berserk fans
  • @hxyuni
I love Connors energy. They should disagree with each other's more. Is hilarious.

Haven't caught up with the manga, but are people really saying JJK has no story? Forgetting all that happened during the Hidden Inventory arc, the conspiracies to overthrow the Jujutsu schools from within, corruption in the establishment, Gojo's almost political struggle against these conspirators, the villains with differing goals, Nobara's backstory, etc etc etc.

Putting aside Made in Abyss for a second, I can't believe Joey and Garnt both said Demon Slayer is on par with JJK. JJK characters have so much more depth to them and better chemistry than Demon Slayer, plus the story is much better too. Never thought I'd agree with Connor over Joey and Garnt, but here we are lol

This comment section just shows too me nobody here truly understands made in abyss or jjk at all. Just surface level takes

Made in abyss is a masterpiece Jjk is another good shounen Its not even close lol
  • Like I don’t understand how the boys treat jjk like it only has good fights, but maybe bc I read manga I feel like writing is so good in jjk, no shonen made me wanna see the next episode that badly, because you don’t know what will happen in the next episode

JJK was mid, until "The Shibuya Incident". There I said it 🌞

To answer Garnt's question I feel like Yuji is a great protagonist for the story he's in On his own, I didn't find yuji a particularly interesting character, but he works because he's probably the only optimistic and morally righteous character in a world full of those that range from morally gray to down right psychopaths. Yuji is the only character to this day that Sukuna just can't seem to break no matter how hard he tries and because of that Yuji in my opinion serves as a light in this dark world. Despite that however I do agree that we don't really get to KNOW Yuji in a fully explored/taking time to develop characters kinda way. There are definitely defined character arcs within JJK, but fully realizing the essence of characters to their fullest isn't something the show is particularly good at which likely due to how fast the pacing of the story is Despite that I was really hoping that Season 2 would open up some of JJK's merits as a story because I think the shibuya incident was built up perfectly and still has some amazing moments I look back on very fondly, so it's disappointing that Garnt still sees it as a "style over substance" kinda deal, but eh to each their own ig :/

Nah. JJK is so generic. Made in Abyss is so so unique that there wont be another like it any time soon
