I also follow a French woman Anne Marie Lecour, and she often says that Converse shoes are very commonly worn! I just found your channel, but I'm really enjoying it! ❤ From. 🇨🇦
  • I picked up wearing silk scarves from French colleagues 40 years ago and still love wearing them. They add color, pattern, femininity and elegance to solid-color items outfits. Plus, a silk neck scarf is essential for wearing under my cashmere or wool sweaters in winter, the skin on my neck can’t stand the irritation of wooly fibers without one.
  • Just found you Lauren and love your channel. I'm 69 and have always loved fashion. I have always loved classic, timeless minimal style. But French style is also a style I truly love and enjoy wearing. Luckily over my many years of styling, I do have all of these pieces. Although I do have several of the pendant necklaces, I wasn't familiar with French women wearing round or oval pendant necklaces. Ty so much for the tip and I can't wait to add this accessory when creating a French inspired outfit. Hello from North Miami Beach and Ty again for a great video.

I visited Paris many years ago & fell in love with the history, architecture, the colours, sights & sounds, hearing the romantic language....I could go on & on. This was beautifully put together, I wish you well & look forward in hearing more of your life & adventures, take care ❤😊

I just returned from Paris (and other parts of France) and I think you nailed the Parisian look. I was surprised to see how many women were wearing low boots or knee high boots with skirts, dresses and shorts! I live in Calgary Alberta Canada where most folks drop their boots in favour of anything else at the first sign of warmth. However I can see how wearing sandals etc can be very impractical in Paris and other towns with cobblestones and uneven walkways. Thanks Lauren!!

Love this video Lauren! Could you do a video about what you eat in France and what foods you miss (if any) from Australia. Have a great week. Paula x

Very practical and easy to put together! Thanks for sharing.
  • @SueRosalie
I'm Aussie and have always worn my trench coats open with the belt tied at the back. It's more flattering.
  • Such a great video Lauren 😊I appreciate your input on the wardrobe essentials most worn by Parisian/French women. I find that French women, and specifically Parisian, have such a sense of style and styling. It seems effortlessly chic and timeless. What you mentioned about the bags worn and that they are mostly without visible logos or branding. It is the same in The Netherlands with more quiet luxury. For myself, I prefer a crossbody bag that does not shout with logos. Polene is my favourite as is Longchamp. They are excellent quality and comfortable to carry.

  • I like very much all these very beautiful outfit pieces, and also I like which interesting observations or discoveries you have made about real local Parisian fashion. Now I wish You a wonderful new week 🌹🥀💐
  • Thank you, Lauren! You are so informative and thorough, I love your videos. That is interesting about the medallion necklace, very pretty. Wrap dresses are my favourite 😊 Have a fabulous week 🥰
