The Oregon Ducks are entering a big year, and the excitement in Eugene is BUZZING after the commitment of 5-Star WR Dakorien Moore, which would make the biggest commit to Oregon in quite some time. Andy brings on Justin Hopkins to evaluate Oregon's roster and where things stand for the Ducks ahead of a BIG 2024 season in Autzen Stadium.

Die hard Duck fan from Rhode Island since 09. Feel like I'm the only one over here in the Northeast lol. Love to see the consistency in their recruiting the past couple of years and it's only going to get better.

Love the Ducks. Born and raised a fan. That being said, I feel like having a National Championship should be a requirement to be comsidered a "blue blood" of the sport

All the talk about 0 national championships is just bc they hate how Oregon is relevant. I’m glad Andy said it. Oregon has been consistently relevant and been a solid program all while having 2 and 3 stars lead the way that’s why a lot of ppl can’t handle the fact that they’re starting to recruit at the highest level. As an Oregon fan we’ve never seen this before back to back top 3 classes and a top 10 class the year before. Mario was a good recruiter landing us in the top 20 and Chip didn’t even sniff anywhere near so what Lanning is doing is insane. W this momentum it’s looking like a natty in the near future hopefully

  • Good job sorting this out Andy - Complicated story but you connected all the dots here!

It’s funny every time Oregon gets a commitment 4/5⭐️’s, it’s about money talikng. But if it’s Texas, Colorado, Ohio State, or Texas A&M nowadays nothing was said. Everyone is using NIL money. Wake up people. Quit being a hypocrite. When Texas used LAHMBO for joyride for recruits, people will never used that against them. I bet if it was Oregon, they would still be hearing that
  • Its gonna be interesting to see where they stand come signing day and how all teams perform this season will dictate the final outcome of all these 2025 recruits for everyone. Oregon isnt yet known for pumping out elite WRs or having national championship contender teams. Look forward to watching them play along with everyone else this season.

Blue Bloods in Football is an interesting topic because of before 1950’s and since then there are some big differences. My mind immediately goes to - Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, USC, UCLA and Notre Dame feel like always were big teams. Then if you said Florida, Florida State, Miami, Auburn and Clemson I would agree yes they are historical teams as well. Oregon is relevant and has been significant in the past 15 years but even if they win one National Championship they still have a decade or more to go. I feel like Blue Bloods are those traditional program’s that have been in power or separated level of talent for a period of time as well as off and on over a longer period of time. Teams consistently talked about as one of the best over decades.

Oregon is snagging a lot of talent. Only so many slots for significant playing time. I wonder how many will be one year and out because of lack of playing time.

I think of blue blood as old money. Oregon really needs at least another 25 years to be a blue blood. Gotta win it all too.
