  • You did a great job explaining the Slothead Neil, Well done! I agree with everything you said. I just wish I could grow my fingernails back. That’s a beautiful Martin 00NY by the way. My current favorite is my Huss and Dalton 00 custom (which I have currently leant to my granddaughter to play at open mics while she is in town). Regarding the practical function of the Slothead (my nickname one the Unofficial Martin guitar forum by the way). I feel that the break angle provides a deeper richer response (I’ll bet you feel the same way). Take care, Slothead Tom

I own two Taylor 12 fret guitars and I love them. I have a tailor 312 CE in a tailor 322e. They sound wonderful and they are very easy to play.

It's great to see another vid from you!
  • It was probably for stability, with the bar having a stopper on the top and bottom it would not bend. It should change the tone. That's about 1/3 of the wood that would normally be there. The whole Guitar is a interactive system, everything affects everything else.
  • Never knew steel string acoustic guitars could have slotted headstock, very informative video.

I have one question sir , if we want to add chord in the arrangement , can we play only leading tone and bass and in the middle can we play rest notes from the scale?
  • @edyue1
I’m not a physicist but is string “pressure” or “tension” the same on all guitars tuned up to A440? 🤔
  • Hei Neil, can i ask you some question? the width and length of the guitar neck using the size of a classical guitar or acoustic guitar?
  • @binodtharu9191
