Wuu wee! Let’s write some chords in FL Studio Mobile without having to learn music theory in depth. And of course, anything I teach here in this beginner tutorial can be applied to the FL Studio Mobile app so that you can make music on your phone!

Here are the basics of writing a basic chords progression,
0:00 Find a sound that you like!
0:40 First base note of our chord progression based on our melody
0:50 Second base note for chord progression
1:00 Complete the remaining base notes for the chord progression
1:22 How to turn base notes into a full major chord progression

After you have mastered the basics of writing a chord, it is time to improve your chord progression. Now to do this, we can follow a step-by-step process to make your chord progression more advance.

2:20 1) Move notes by its octaves
2:37 2) Find a constant note for chords
3:11 3) Relisten to your chord and modify accordingly (within the scale)

Man... I'm just trying to figure out how to get chords down without manually dropping every individual note. Seems intuitive on PC but not at all on phone. This was so easy in GarageBand. Maybe I'll just not use FL Studio for on the go recording and ideas. Ya, FL Studio mobile seems like really pretty bloatware rn, perhaps too clunky to be relevant for me.
  • I don't know how to use the effects and other samples like fx reverb etc
