In my first video on this air rifle, we looked at the high quality walnut, classy additions, and speed tests of this Crosman 362 100 Year Anniversary edition, Serial #277. It even inspired me to take up watercolor painting again! In my second video, I featured the Williams Sight which comes factory installed on this edition. The sight is a peep hole sight, but can be adjusted fairly precisely. We now have the rifle zero sighted for 25 yards!

In this video I show how with the 8 pumps recommended for the air rifle that it was not getting enough oomph to drive the Crosman Red Flight penetrating pellet through an empty Coleman propane can at 25 yards. But it was very close, so I took a chance and pumped it one addition pump (9 pumps) and this increased the speed just enough to provide that extra bit of energy to punch on through!

Good footage of some pellets penetrating, and even bouncing off in a couple of glancing shots in this video.

I really like all your videos thanks
  • When I was growing up i shot Benjamin multi-pumps a lot. At some point I figured out that if I pumped it 10 times it would dump all the air giving me the most power. At 11 pumps I would have a little left over if I just cocked and shot it. At like 15 pumps it had enough left over for a really weak shot without pumping it. I've just always pumped up multi pumps till they could dump all the air and when a pump less until they did for full power. I finally ordered one that should be here next week.

Hay Brian. Thanks for the 3 part video on your Anniversary Crosman 362. Your rifle is more accurate than my Reg 362 which shoots 2" groups at 30 yards. Since yours is so accurate, I was hoping in the future your would test the long distance potential and accuracy with a good scope on it? Thanks for your hard work shooting this rifle and making the videos!

she's definitely mantle worthy! I wonder how those Piranha's would do against some bad apples (or fujis or galas or bois d'arcs :). I assume Crosman recommends 8 to keep warranty claims down but my gut thinks 10 pumps is a nice wholesome #. I guess that's one reason why I only have sub $100 airguns, I can't have anything nice lol.

That is an amazing amount of records , I wonder how gamo rockets would do? I have a theory that these pumpers gain FPS when used rapidly due to the tube heating up. I was on the fence about getting one cause of how $$$ they are but that walnut is so pretty I got to thinking it would increase the value of my 760 Anniversary pellet gun, I love your videos , keep making them the subscribers will come. 👍
