Is Miami preparing to become the next big tech hub? Are startups from Silicon Valley moving to Miami? That has been the buzzing news in recent weeks, though it has been an idea thrown around for the past decade. Perhaps now, as many companies flee California in search of areas more tax-friendly and cost-efficient, Miami has resurfaced as a viable option for these tech companies. In the video I share content from different news and medias sources discussing the potential for Miami to become the next big tech hub.

What do you think? Is this a good idea for Miami? Let me know in the comments below! And if you like the content, please subscribe and share it with a friend!

Great video Lindsey, As someone that have lived in Miami during my childhood, I never saw it to be seriously place for tech to be involved in South Florida nothing I've never have seen coming now that its grown a lot, Today my thinking has changed, I know with so much happen and people leaving California and New York due to high taxes. I can see more growth happening here. I do agree it is very expensive in Miami, Miami's traffic is not fun to battle through.

My son lives near downtown, outskirts of little Havana. He pays high rent, just laid off, looking for a computer job. Pay is low, he may have to move back home with us. So yes, Miami is expensive relative to the salaries.

that will be freaking awesome if Miami becomes a new tech hub !!! After the pandemic, the new norm is definitely beneficial to cities like Hawaii & Miami because REMOTE WORK FULL TIME has become legitimate and it will stay.... then why you get stuck in a very expensive city if you don't need to suck it up to keep the job in Silicon valley. This wave of EXODUS has started and more and more Californians will leave for sure this year !!!
  • Great. More news like this please. Also check out the South Florida Regional Planning Council and local chamber of commerce associations for more
  • Once Austin turns into a dump like the Bay Area, they’ll be looking. Please don’t let miami turn into that 😢
