When you allow large corporations to make tons of profit with no regulations they put that money in their back pocket and they don't want to spend money improving or maintaining their infrastructure.
  • @sherrycox9096
What happens when you let an electric company regulate itself?

Everything is bigger in Texas….. particularly power outages.

It's not just Boeing that cuts critical corners for the sake of profit.

The power of deregulation. Texas has only itself to blame.
  • Here’s an idea: bury the power lines. Force your elected officials to act now. Don’t accept excuses. Time to spend the citizens’ money for the good of the citizens!

sad thing is the company don't care they still charging you a bill even if the power off

I'm in Jamaica went almost 5 days. My family house in a different parish is still without electricity more than a week later. Most areas have regained electricity. Beryl came to destroy electricity. It's like she targeted it wherever she went

Abbott spent all the funds on Bus trips for migrants to Chicago and NY.

My big concern is for the poor and their families and our helpless elderly!

Wealthier people have whole home, natural gas generators. Greg Abbott doesn't gaf about the other people. Texas is the Republican nirvana. Happy, well to do upper class and everyone else.

    a) You get what you vote for, or b) You reap what you sow. Take your pick, Texas.

Texas should not separate their electrical grid from US national grid line In case of natural disaster. Problems happened during the ice storm several years ago and now it happen again so you can not live alone in the union but rely and help each other.
  • Im in Philly my son is in texas he just told me his power is still out as of today, and hopefully, it'll be on by Sunday, which made me really sad.
  • Going on 5 days with no power and tired and exhausted filling gas and getting ice my anxiety and stress is off the charts
