They really needed to have someone with more credentials to interview John Sweeney; she kept interrupting him during important points he was trying to make with (what seemed like) pre-planned questions that had nothing to do with what he was talking about. John Sweeney has gone head to head with Putin before, she needs to chill out and listen to his expertise instead of interrupting. So tired of this untrained school of reporting.
  • I find it annoying when a reporter calls on an expert and then spends so much time talking over them and interrupting them. I would really like to have heard more about what he was saying.

John Sweeney very much on point , where in his summary and analysis as the interview ends he basically forecasts what has just happened in this war considering it was filmed apparently a month ago. Well done John.

And the most remarkable thing is those Western Leaders, like Merkel, who trusted him enough to hang their whole countries energy reliance on. 🤦
  • @PushyPawn
This man KNOWS what's he's talking about and he's absolutely right.

Great interview! This gentleman eloquently says what us, the Ukrainians, have been saying during all these years: you should not be afraid of russia and of its fragile dictator. They are the bullies. You should not be appeasing them, but show them their place.
  • It’ll hopefully be ok Russia We used to have a fragile monster as a leader as well
  • @crunchyfrog63
It seems blindingly obvious to me that the way you deal with a bully is to not back down or demonstrate any fear. The people who understand Russia best, the Balts, Poles, as well as Ukrainians, seem to grasp this instinctively, and are far less afraid than we seem to be, despite being at objectively greater risk. The sooner we get Ukraine the weapons they need to win this decisively, the better it will be for everyone. And no, I don't believe that people who love their wealth and luxurious lives as much as the Russian leadership are prepared to turn the world into a nuclear wasteland because they're not allowed to take something that they've lived without for 30+ years.

how quickly you all forget , this is a population of 150 million Europeans who ancestors turned their backs on capitalism , they are fundamentally different and there's a good chance Chnia's got their back.

"A fragile monster." Sounds like Trump and Putin have a lot in common.
  • In a crude way, it would seem that if you destroyed or critically damaged a nuclear power plant that was located in your own neighborhood it would sort of be like defecating on your kitchen table. Some how and in some way, really bad things could come to you. Radiation and wind direction don't recognize borders.
