I still can't believe we got a boss fight against a SENTIENT TRAIN in a Sonic game. Like, it sounds like something completely in line for the series, but also unpredictable. We've seen trains, we've fought sentient robots, so how could we not have seen this possibility.

I love how sonic leaps forward for a boss fight and then it just cuts to the title card saying he died.

0:43 I love how the music changes when Sonic goes into a spin here. Reminds me a lot of Sonic X, and that's one of the many things from Sonic X that I loved. Nice animation!

Honestly I think the most impressive thing here is the fact that hat stays on his head the whole fight Seriously though, the animation is WONDERFUL. You got the feel of what we actually saw through the portraits of the game down so well. It's so good

Sonic is such a fun character to see animated, just because of how integral that fluidity is to the games, and you captured it amazingly! I also loved your take on the train turning to face Sonic at the end, since I never quite understood that, logistically :D
