Former Labour adviser Ayesha Hazarika is back with Beth and Ruth for the last few days of the election campaign.

On this episode they discuss how Beth is preparing for election night – what constituencies to look out for and they give a listener advice on election snacks.

They also discuss the final days of campaigning and why the Tories are attacking Keir Starmer for suggesting he will finish work at 6pm on a Friday night if he becomes Prime Minister.

  • We need some boring family politics, just get things done, no scandal, no lies, no rollocks, might make a very nice change and bring back some faith in politics.

I respect Beth's authentic interest in politics. I think she could have been tougher on the Tories in previous years but she is genuine. There are many political commentators who have a joke background. Hope Mercer gets kicked out his attack on his opponenta record was unforgiveable and hope Rees Mogg, Truss,.Sunak and Hunt are sent packing too.

Thanks to time zones, by 'Election Night' will be Friday morning. Fortunately, most of my office work from home that day, so I'll be able to keep up with events uninterrupted.

Definitely one of the more interesting political podcasts with the terrific trio! Well-informed, witty and totally not shouty. A lesson in intelligent political conversation.

I'm not Jewish, but can't Sunak's attack on Starmer's Friday night routine be classed as Anti-Semitism?
