  • This pup is over 12 years old now. I hope they've been good to him over the years.

I've been watching these types of videos for like 20 minutes and i can't express what emotions I am having.

everyone commenting about the dog being in the box or the dude on the couch but no one’s talking about how the guy legitimately asked the dog “Do /you/ have a name?” that’s so sweet imo

That puppy did a great job. The paws on the edge of the box, the lick on the cheek, it's a professional at being adorable!

I love how the darling thing instantly knew who she belonged to--look how she reached up to him!

OMG it looks like my dad. He's been gone almost 20 years now and it still gets me at times. Miss you so much, Dad. Rest in peace. You earned it.

I'm amazed that people can't comprehend that if a dog is in a box, as a Christmas gift----- it hasn't been in there for weeks, days, or hours. It was put in /right/ before being given. Good lord people.

Getting dad a pet for the family is a sneaky way to get a present for yourself...
  • I love how the puppy saw him, looked around, then looked at him again and tried to jump out toward him, like "Yep, this man is going to love me. Give me love."
  • @speeeee35
LOL I love how the bigger dog at the beginning is sniffing around like, "Pretty sure there's a dog in there." LOL Anyway, thanks for sharing this video! This pup must be a senior now, if still with us (I hope so!) but regardless, I hope you all made tons and tons of memories with him and love him very much!!!!! As I'm sure he loves you all too!

I am a huge dog person, and I will defend this family's actions. They were perfectly fine putting him in that box - he was probably only there for a couple of minutes, he had plenty of oxygen, he didn't seem even remotely distressed, and you would have heard him calling if he had been. The family clearly cared greatly for him and would never have put him in a situation that could have been harmful. They also clearly assessed the dog's personality and came to the conclusion that he was calm enough to handle 2 minutes alone in a box. Besides, many animals find dark, confined spaces comforting and enjoyable.

When I turned 16, my mom told me I HAD to go to the pet store to pick up dog food. I complained and didn't want to go. As I got to the pet store and went to go get dog food, I saw a kitten running with a pink balloon that said "16" attached to his collar. I picked up the kitten, and was looking for the owner. My mom came out and told me he was mine and i dropped to the ground crying 😂 Im turning 19 soon, and he is my baby 💜
  • How sweet! The joy one gets from their beloved animal friend is beautiful to watch. Bless them all!
