  • I have raised 4 childern of my own and 2 step children through 15 yrs of marriage. I am separated but I love those children just as much as my own. Not one parent on that stage hugged or said they love their step children. All children deserve a safe, loving and happy home to feel safe! I never down talk their father because it only harms my children. Parents listen to your children and most of all DON'T make your problems their problems ✝️

The striped shirt dad is so detached it’s making me so mad he blames everyone and takes no responsibility for his participation, or lack there of, in his kids life
  • This is just my opinion, but Cheryl seems like a battle axe to me. She and the sister were BOTH ganging up on Matt, intensely. They seemed to enjoy tag teaming him.
  • @trekkiejunk
I've never heard a psychiatrist take domestic violence so lightly.
  • I'm on Matt's side. I had a family situation similar to this (they were my birth parents), and I'm really on Matt's side.
  • I love these old classic talk shows. Thank you for posting these
  • @Muirmaiden
Cheryl is the problem. Demanding that Chris give up his son for her and she thinks Matt should be beaten. Matt needs help, and she's not helping. Newsflash to these "parents" - your children come first, period.
  • @xhunniebeexo
Behavioural issues or not, to embarrass Matt about wetting the bed is seriously messed up…she seems more interested in being right than actually fixing the problem! πŸ™„

Man, I really hope Matt is out there somewhere today alive and healthy and happy. His family really just refused to even do the bare minimum of humanizing and respecting him.
  • @mkxv
Matt should come first. Stepsister needs to butt out, stepmother needs to relax and stop talking for the husband, dad needs to stand up for his son. He's not acting like this for no reason. Stepmother is irritating af

I would love to see updates on all these guests that have been on Sally's show after all these years would make a great show

Cheryl seems to be a complete and total KAREN before the concept of Karen came into existence.
  • @Trayleen
Matt's stepmom and stepsister sound like hatefull bullies. How can you humiliate a teenage boy with saying he wets the bed? He seems like someone is doing a serious harm to him. Maybe even molesting him :( and Cheryl saying with such regret she cannot spank him, wtf

Dr. Ruth Peters was very intelligent and I loved every piece of advice she gave everyone. She passed away at age 60 in 2010, what a shame she died so young. She contributed a lot to society.
  • @smalldollars
Matt mad me cry, I could feel his intense deep pain pouring through his facade of toughness...
  • Easy: Your undivided loyalty is to your child. Kick the step parent to the curb. Kids don't just magically wake up "evil"; they're a mirror of what they experience at home & school. It's a family problem & they're trying to communicate something with their awful behavior, like a screaming infant or barking dog.
  • Ah yes staying home sick from school watching some sally lol the times have truly changed.
  • @angiepansy33
The dad of the 2 girls completely missed the woman in the audience's point. Children need more than just housing and food. They need love and attention. Something he obviously never gave them

Gosh I remember this episode back then. I'm 51 now, and I remember when Sally's red glasses was all the rage, popular. My sister bought a pair..lol Ahh, memories. I also remember going to the movies to see The Adam's Family, and the part where she says " Mr. Adam's, please stop calling, we do not know where they meet " πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I laughed so hard for I thought it was hilarious, and now that im older, brilliantly put !!
  • It’s not about being stepdad or stepmom, but about stepping up and taking care of the child
