My boyfriend didn’t get me anything and when I went to the dollar store the manager casually started a conversation with me and asked me what I got for Vday, when I said nothing he gifted me a free balloon 😂 bless his heart.

My husband and I are in agreement that we won’t do Valentines… we do challenge each other to see who find the best clearance candy the next day…HOWEVER 😅 my oldest son is now 12 so my husband has made it a POINT to show him how to spoil me and care for me… so he can treat his future gf … so I cannot be mad at him… he’s being a dad. I think everyday gestures are way more important than one day ❤

I think asking your significant other to be your valentine is something that’s new and trending because of social media, I think it’s cute and if my husband wants to ask me with a cute gift I’ll appreciate it ❤️ I won’t expect it BUT I for sure expect a Valentine’s Day gift because that’s not new babe 😂

Jonathan’s words literally brought me to tears…I needed to hear this-I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis at 27 its an awful autoimmune disease that takes over your life. Ever since then Ive had a why me mindset and have had trouble with my faith..thank you for sharing ❤

I think regardless of the financial situation, a card with heartfelt words would be appreciated. If he wanted to he would! My husband has always got me flowers since we dated and financially situation hasnt always been the same, yet he has always thought of me ❤
