The complete musician: Outstanding songwriter, singer, instrumentalist (multi), and bandleader. Love your work.
  • @johnmckenna4
Deserves far broader recognition but then again this outstanding artist can stay true and not be sucked into the machine that is popular music. Such a gift to the world.

In the darkness and hatred that crawls across America these days...this is a light like no other . thank Sarah from Europe ukšŸŒ»šŸ±ā˜®

Props to PBS's Austin City Limits for Sarah Jarosz discovering me about 30 minutes ago. There I was, flippin' through channels, and her whole vibe grabbed both my ears and, thankfully, haven't let go yet. Now I'm here on YouTube letting her talents further discover my eyes and ears. Please excuse my lack of filter as I age, but Sarah almost immediately reminded me of Suzanne Vega...Sorry for the comparison, but please take it as a sincere compliment, Sarah. My ears are not easily smitten, but I'm still rambling, because this young lady is a musician, singer, songwriter; when I listened to "Crazy", I was expecting Patsy Cline...Sarah knocked it out the park, Gnarls! So glad Sarah discovered me...

She introduced me to James McMurtry by covering Childish Things with John Leventhal accompanying on guitar.
  • So in love with this new album.... and MASSIVE ATTACK I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! And Mezcal and Lime, perfect encore.

Saw her in Marietta ohio. Best show I've ever personally been to. Ballroom thieves opened for us. They were amazing. And then Sarah and her crew. Just perfection. Pure magic.

Teardrop was an insanely cool choice. So unique and a beautifully done cover adding her folk/bluegrass tone to it.

Thanks Larry. I was at this show maybe 10 feet from Sarah. I was hoping the show would show up here. šŸ˜Š

Just listened to this entire concert (at work..shhhh)..and loved every song. Great work SJ!
  • @gingermaniacally
I saw SJ last summer at the TĆønder festival in Denmark. It was before the new album was even announced but she played The Way It Is Now in her set. Just blew everyone away. Such a talent.
  • I am mobility challenged and couldn't make any of your concerts this year, but this is the next best thing. Loved every minute! ā¤
