‘Triangle of Sadness’ wins Palme d’Or at Cannes Film fest

The festival also named Korean star Song Kang Ho best actor for his performance in Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda’s film, Broker, about a Korean family seeking a home for an abandoned baby.

Parece que o filme é falado em inglês, o que aumenta ainda mais suas chances no Oscar 2023... Inclusive,parece que o filme tem a participação do ator Woody Harrelson que,torço muito para que esteja nas premiações de cinema,em 2023! Uma comédia venceu o Festival de Cannes... Que bom que o ator francês Vincent Lindon, presidente do júri do Cannes 2022 inovou , e premiou uma comédia com tema bem atual, com a Palma de Ouro de Melhor Filme! Até a próxima!

I am not gonna lie. I kind of get a feeling that if your film is a black comedy about the social class, you kind of half way from winning the Palme dor. I mean from The square, triangle of sadness and parasite.

I saw it not as a comedy--when people get killed it's not funny. The theme is very serious. The exploitation is not funny. Why this is titled a comedy is due to some kind of reduction of the seriousness of the themes within the film that make it an extraordinary cultural analysis and almost a socio-economic deconstruction of society--much more deadly serious than any comedy.
