You're such a fine art journaler, bringing meaning to your pages. That's what people want. They want to know how to bring meaning to their own pages. Imagine Lisa Conway and me, Barbara Clark, sitting in your audience LOVING everything you say and do.

You are an inspiration to a lot of us, not only your collage, but your strength and openness as well. I am praying for you. Blessings.

Art is very healing. In your heart, you know you are an artist. Keep up with the wonderful collages. I always look forward to your videos. You will have wonderful classes and makes me wish I lived closer. Thank you

I need to cut out sugar too..that"s a hard one for me and I have done it before. Starting is the hardest step for me. Your collage IS ART. period. I just found a vogue at my walmart so I can give it a try paired with the floral cut outs. Im so proud of how much you do in a day, and now a chance to teach a class!! I love seeing your vlogs where you are showing flip thrus of journals or working on a piece, but I also like when you update like today. I'm still trying to find balance in life myself so I can relate.

Your local galleries don’t appreciate the gem they have in their community. You are an amazing artist Dianne! Btw I am also plant based and it can be difficult to get all the nutrients. I hope your energy levels improve soon.💙

Cut your fav piece out of your journal and frame it! Prove to yourself it is real art! ❤️

Thank you for sharing this and being vulnerable! I found you and your collage back in 2015 looking for Smashbook videos. I've been mesmerized ever since. It is art and your beautiful photography as well. I try my hardest to get Art Journaling when I know your published. It hurts when you're rejected, especially art....been there. If I'm happy with my art, then I'm okay, but it still stings. Hugs from Georgia and keep doing your beautiful collages.

I have followed you for years and I admire your work and get art journal whenever you are published. I look forward to your posts especially the ones that are done in real time. Life has got difficult with anaemia for me and I am so thankful I am retired and can rest when I can. However with caring responsibilities I too can feel overwhelmed by fatigue so relate so much to you. I hesitate to comment to such a fine artist as yourself, but recently I’ve had a tray by my chair and watercolours and a little book and encouraged myself to set 5 minutes aside to make a mark. I seem to remember years ago you used to work in your car when your children were little. I believe it is the anaemia that is your enemy these days, so your control is taking the medication. It takes a little while to build the levels. My doctor took some convincing that it wasn’t my caring responsibilities bringing me done, but you know what’s good for you. I am an occasional meat eater, but mainly cook fresh. Cooking is creative too. But hold in there. The low mood will go when you get that medication under control. I could tell my the end of your stream, talking to us so sending you big hugs.
  • Yay… I am so happy to see your video Dianne! What a blessing !❤️🦋❤️🌸🥰🦋 I hope that you can get some wonderful rest Sweetie. I knew you were going to say your anemic. When I was younger, I was too anemic. I remember how exhausting it was. I pray that you will feel better Dianne🙏🏽💖🙏🏽💖🙏🏽 Sweetie, a lot of your doubt(being anemic throws a lot off)is coming from being anemic. This is a feeling that can’t be understood completely unless someone has experienced this. You are an amazing Artist! You are so much stronger than you realize. You bare your soul and that takes great courage and strength! This is part of being a great artist! You got this beautiful lady!❤️

I don't know if you've come across Louise Fletcher? She's an abstract fine artist here in the UK - professional, has had exhibitions, etc - and she's in the middle of a free art course atm that I'm doing. You might want to check out the lives she's doing in relation to that which will be up on her YouTube for the week that it is running because she talks a LOT about things that are directly relevant to you and how you are feeling. For example: she is a professional, recognised artist - it's her BUSINESS - and she said that out of her friends and family only one friend really likes her work and the rest don't understand it, don't get it, don't like it and don't really give it much importance. And she's a working artist! What she would say is: you be YOU, find your true artist voice (and we all have a unique voice) and stick to it - because if you are true to you, you WILL have an audience who will recognise that for what it is and love it and (if you ever wanted to) will buy it or buy your experience through classes etc.
  • I'm sorry to hear your struggling so much. 🤗 (hugs, if that's ok). I'm vegetarian too. I am currently subscribed to the Art Journaling Magazine, and I love it when you show up in it, I always enjoy your contributions. Hope you'll have better days, soon. :goodvibes:
