I was a kid of the 80s. I love and miss those days and wish I could go back. This is one of the most well done 80s documentary out there. 👏

Best episode ever....lol. As a GenXer (1974) I've always said that the best part of being born in the 70s was growing up in the 80s. 👍 😎

Anyone else a kid from the 80’s? How great would it be to go back and relive the decade of the 80’s As a kid that is

I need to send this video to my 21 yr old son. He's always been fascinated with the 80s even though he was born in 2000. 🥰

I still play my old school games. Pacman, Mario Brothers. It never gets old.
  • They opened the show with the Challenger going up. January 28th, 1986. My mother passed away of cancer thia day. I was 14. I still have to be reminded of it. I love the 80's. Everything we had and did was the coolest that anyone ever. God Bless all my GenX Brothers and Sisters out there!!
  • I'm old enough to remember using the PC without a hard drive. You load a floppy disk of DOS(the operating system), and Lotus 1-2-3(the application). When you switch off everything is gone.
  • So glad I got to spend my teenage years in the ‘80’s ~ best decade!
  • I remember going to the computer lab in elementary school to play Oregon Trail on an IBM PC. Good times...

I have one of those 1UP Arcade games here in my man-cave. It's got Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Tempest, Missile Command, Gravitar, Centipede and a few others. I really like it.

When we got a new VCR it a was incredible moment ,we were so happy, we could go to the video store and rent movies like our friends were doing 🤣 ,it really was something cool to have at home, you had to actually live through it to get the full context of it. All these gadgets were game changers.

Yes, this just almost made me misty eyed with good memories of the 80s…. Such a great time to grow up. I am 54 now, but went to high school and then UCLA from 82-91…. Spent so many quarters and rushing home to watch Robotech and other cartoons…. Thanks for this installment Modern Marvels/History Channel!!

I've been very fortunate that I was able to experience 1980s in my teen years. Commodore Vic-20, C64, Walkman, CDs, Commodore Amiga, Pac-Man and etc. It makes me appreciate what it took to get us here today. Items in the 1980s are truly timeless gems.

Good for you putting Steve Wozniak ahead of Steve Jobs, Wozniak was the real brains.🧠

Omg! Watching this documentary has really triggered some extremely happy childhood memories! 😄. Good times. My favorite games were Defender, Centipede, Dig Doug, and asteroids. Or hanging out at Tower records listening to music on headphones. Lol
