I'm a part-time working stay at home mom, I listen to your show in the background. I really appreciate these type of videos and your words of encouragement. I am a petite woman that continues to educate myself on what we need to do to update our 1970s home. My husband looks at me and says, "I don't know how to do any of that stuff." In my head I know we can't afford to hire SO WE WILL DO IT :). So far as I renovate no major issues and I gain more confidence each time. Know you are helping working families all across America like mine. You rock!

I love your channel I learn a lot that helps me in my small team

I love these so much, I'm not a carpenter / contractor, but I did rip out my shower, before I realized that the existing drain pan wouldn't work with what I wanted to do, and then I kind of froze, realizing that I had no idea how to proceed. Watching these videos have helped me mentally get up the courage to think I might can do it, and begin researching how to do a drain pan for a doorless shower.... These Hanging out videos though, are like gabbing with a best friend, while accomplishing things.... I knit and learn, you construct and teach.... Thank you doesn't even begin to describe how much I appreciate your imparting your wisdom without holding back things so you can feel like you've got the upper hand or whatever.... Thank you so sincerely for being so honest, open and willing to teach.... You're a true gem and very much so a treasure!!! I've shared this video, and will continue to share each new one... Great work and please keep these up.... (and if you happen to know how to do a curbless shower drain pan on a cement slab, that'd be awesome if you could feature it!!!) =) Many blessings, and thanks for your wisdom!!!
  • Love this format Jeff. Keep it up. 😍🤩😍🥰 You make me more confident in my own vision and skills.

I’m exhausted just watching this guy all the time. Don’t know where he gets the energy
  • Out in California, my experience is that Dunn-Edwards is the best paint for coverage, and matching years later.

Hi Jeff! Now seeing this video. I love your channel and have learned so much. My uncles were carpenter so it’s natural to find your videos soothing & informative!! I need help! I have a home build in 1906 with original hardwood floors. Should I refinish & use them or do vinyl?
  • @pizzon63

Thank you for sharing your process it is SO very educational to see you work through challenges when they arise! Confession - I have NEVER poured epoxy and am preparing to apply what I have learned here on two major projects in our remodel of an old victorian home. One to do our kitchen counters and the other to do a shower. I have a QUESTION about the area where the shower doors anchor through and the front edge... instead of cutting a box and adding an creating an inlay of wood for the anchor point and using MDF for the front edge, I'm considering using a strip of MDF wide enough to do both. Can you think of any reason why I should not? I welcome your wisdom as I try to price out and plan. Thank you in advance!
