Rainbow Falls | My Little Pony Reviews

Yeah...I actually wanted to see more of Thunderlane since Hurricane Fluttershy seemed to have the running gag of the mares picking on him, and can easily see RD having an antagonistic relationship towards the poor guy. 

This episode could have been fixed by maybe having the Wonderbolts as judges, and perhaps having a continuity nod by having Lightening Dust as one of the team members along with 2 other new characters.

I know that episode has it's problems but the best thing about it was Derpy's cameo. It's nice to see her again.

Your face in the intro... Just to hilarious.. LOL.

Just gotta say I LOVE your season 4 intro. every time I see that pose you take before flying I just yell "YAH!" its such an epic animation I just get so hyped for it. I get the same way in Pinkie Pride at the climax of that one song she sings.

I might be talking silly but I think the vector of Goldie mad when saying the writer before the intro is adorable

Ever considered that maybe Spitfire is doing a secret test of character? What about the fact that they brought back Derpy? As a Christian, I like that the series is good to talk about forgiving others.

Great review as always fox but one thing why does your OC have a tie one sec and not the next ? He looks good with the tie i think he should have it all the time. Or do u use this to show this is when your being truthful more in that moment more then the rest?

I like the end about derpy and btw, I agree with a lot u said about spitfire, but sadly this one is my favorite because Soarin gets more screen time than ever

0:18- I had the same reaction at the beginning of this episode GoldenFox. 3:32- Regarding Spitfire, what if she's a changeling (explaining the attitude shift) and Chrysalis is attempting another attack on Equestria during the Equestrian Games? Just a thought. Overall i didn't think the episode was as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, but that's just me. I give it a 3/5.

The first time I watched this episode, I felt just as disgusted about how the Wonderbolts were portrayed as you did.  Since then, after watching others' reactions and opinions, I've softened up on that stance.  I still don't like it, but I've been able to look past that and enjoy the story and humor of the episode.  I can understand if you can't though, as it is rather jarring. Btw, minor nitpick.  Having Derpy in the episode DID make it slightly better because the way she was included, particularly during Rainbow's speech about loyalty, added a hidden layer to the message.
