This is the inspiring story of Eldred Tellis, founder and executive director of Sankalp Rehabilitation Trust. Once a narcotics user himself, Eldred has dedicated over four decades to helping drug addicts in Mumbai find a path to recovery. Through innovative programs including an Opioid Substitution Therapy, needle exchange to prevent HIV and blood-borne diseases, and with counselling services, Sankalp has made significant strides. Eldred Tellis’s dedication and compassion have transformed more than 25,000 lives, providing addicts with hope and a chance at a better future.
