I am in Canada now, came in through Quebec Montreal and it was a scary and difficult experience!! From one immigration officer who said he was not convinced and sent me to a second officer who started another round of questions a long story ooh!! I even missed my connecting flight!! I thank God for showing up gor me and all that i learnt from Chorkomillionaire ( This experience is seriously summarized ooh)

You are a smart guy, I had same experience through land border from US, greyhound was delayed for 45mins because I was the only African They said i packed too much of clothes, I said , “ well I learnt Canada is cold, people wear 4 wears at a dress, meaning , I would wear 7 at once.” First entry is a moment of serious scrutiny, travel light !! Wow, these guys are getting tougher. Even as a Canadian citizen, I was surprised when I was questioned last year after returning from a Dubai vacation with my family at the Montreal Airport—asking very detailed questions like the name of the hotel we stayed at, this was after asking the general type of questions of how long you stayed and where you travelled too. Thankfully, it was a very short moment with them, but if they had gone any further, I would have had questions for the officer.
