Grizzly bear hunts bison calfs in Lamar valley, then gets chased away. Wolf watches from the sidelines.

Safety in numbers. The bear used a lot of energy gallivanting about. You captured on film a memory that will last forever. Thanks for posting!

That bear just wanted to play with the bisons’ kids! That was a great display of teamwork by the bison. Amazing! And those wolves were huge! When I backpacked through Yellowstone in the early 80’s, there were no wolves and no bison. It’s great to see you use the correct name, “Bison.” “Buffalo”is slang for bison.

I like how the really big Bison don't even bother to run 😂
  • @Jimbogf
haha that dude was like "get em", then later he said to the others "I figured out which one of you I can out run."
  • Bear: I'm having some nice tender calf Bison: Come back here, I wonder what bear tastes like Bear: I'm out of here not worth it, see ya

That Bear is checking out for injured ,old and calfs, Bears can run at 30 miles an hour and are powerful predators.
  • Run away….we’re 2k lbs and the bear is 700lbs, there’s 50 of us and 1 of him….RUN AWWAAAAAAAAY
  • I love your videos and I especially love nature as it is and not made up

the Bear seemed like it was trying to separate one from the rest of the herd.

Good for the Bison. I thought of the Infamous Water Buffalo in Africa, called " Black Death" huge very aggressive and Mean as Fire.
  • Wolf if that bear doesn't stand a chance what chance do you think you got against bison!🤣😅😂👍🏼

Finally the bear figured out it’s just to big for him to take down.
  • @ddelv583
Maybe it's just me, but it looks like grizzlies have to put out such extreme effort to run any where...
  • Like the bison couldn't see the bear . Slowest bison test .?

Interesting how the Grizzly bear will not risk wading headlong in the large groups of bison yet ive seen videos of polar bears diving into a huge group of walruses( the walruses make the bear look small) without hesitation targeting the younger walruses which are safely inbedded within the group similiar to what bisons do with their young. Polar bears being 100% carnivore must have greater resolve and less fear of meeting a dangerous opponent like the walrus with their huge tusk.

People really saying the bear doesn’t stand a chance 🤣 he didn’t even attack the bison he’s probably eaten already
