Hydrogen Balloons

Ever wonder why we use Helium instead of Hydrogen in our balloons? Well wonder no longer! The first balloon is just pure Hydrogen while the other is a Hydrogen/Oxygen mixture. Don't try this at home kids.

    Well, the label "best engineers" is a bit of an overstatement for the germans at the time, seeing as how the Hindenburg's paint was chemically similar to thermite... Good recipe for a kick-ass 4th of July though!

    @cristoballs well they did, but the U.S. had the monopoly on Helium

    @cristoballs Well rationalization is not a new thing. " Hey no worries! We have the best engineers in the world. We will come up with a fool-poof system."
