2016 Nissan Maxima 0-60 Test

Published 2015-09-27
Highway pull to determine this vehicle's 0-60 mph time. The test is done on a slight downhill grade, though I have performed 0-60 tests of some of the vehicles on flat ground and found very similar results, sometimes even better (due to the lack of a slight turn). Unless otherwise noted, most 0-60 launches are performed with traction control off, and the vehicle in sport mode if equipped.

5.8 sec isn't bad. It also gets good gas mileage as well I've managed to get 31.5 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city which is pretty good for a V6.

lol i just bough a 17 Coulis Red platinum medallion edition for $33.9K as well but lets be honest its about as fast as all the other performance based V6 out there. they all have 300+hp now. Mostly boils down to power to weight ratio. Nissan get bagged for the CVT trans but i got it for the better gas milage as a daily driver. Plus who's really going to know the difference between a 5.7 0-60 or a 6.0 lol nobody unless your racing someone & thats just a ticket waiting to happen. Bottom line for me it was the all round best looking bang for my $$$$
