I built shoes that turn you into Aquaman. They let you walk on water and cruse around below the surface. They're built using massive electric motors and propellers mounted to the user's leg. With enough practice it's possible to jump out of the water and cruse along the surface!

Imagine these on double power, just gliding across the entire lake. Honestly, I liked the propelling across the water part more than the walking on water part.
  • That should definitely be a new future movie prop, dude. I love how it made you move on the water. Props to you.
  • In high school, I recall a book by Brandon Sanderson in a series about super powered people where the main character was given a water jet pack made using the cells of a water manipulator. It was meant to allow him to fly around the city, but was incredibly difficult to use, as while it had 3 thrusters on his feet and hand, the other hand had to stay pointed towards water for him to stay up. Before he learned to fly with it, he used it in much the same way as you used your leg thrusters. You have made my child self very happy good sir, and I appreciate that

I can't wait to see your finished electric jetpack! Awesome job as usual, your projects are easily the best on Youtube.

Dude, you just managed to make the David Hasselhoff swimming motion from the first Sponge Bob movie possible!! And Aquaman’s superhuman swimming as well!! Congratulations on such great work and progress. I couldn’t help but smile the entire way through! Can’t wait to see the finished jet pack! I bet it’s gonna be awesome!!

Using a greenhouse as a workplace is genius

You build so many amazing things with the things you have, I could only imagine what you could do with a full industry behind you

this is sick, imagine if these were commercially available Edit: I meant for a reasonable price
  • @redbee5741
this looks even funnier than actually walking on water, since you can just move super fast underwater too! Amazing work dude !
  • @oscca7756
We NEED a commercial product of this. Those are amazing, and look incredibly fun.

I think this invention will greatly help divers
  • @AuthenTech
Daaang those turned out super sweet!! 👏 Def seems like a refined design could be sold commercially
  • It's actually insane how agile you can swim with those. Imagine what a pro freedriver could do? Or a scuba diver? And you could upgrade the battery system for more power, longer run time between charges. This is honestly the coolest water invention I've seen since the water jet
  • @Dtr146
If he would have titled this making Aquaman boots. It would have been spot on.

Attaching a fast spinning boat propeller to each foot... seems safe enough! Reminds me of those old toys from the 40's-50's, like the gas powered pogo stick or the radioactive toy lab set.
  • I'm just imagining an even more powerful version of these that make it possible for someone to jump out of the water completely and then dive back in.

i love how theres always failures in every video, it shows that this kinda stuff isnt easy and there are always setbacks but they fix it in the end

As a linguist, your Australian accent is actually... shockingly on point. I'm REALLY impressed someone without precise knowledge of the dialect's phonetic features pulled that off.
