Out of every tutorial on the internet, this one was the only one that taught me how to get it together to rig guns with an r6IK rig (just do the same steps but with a gun rig attached). W video

i never found out how they made the custom bones this is so helpful omg
  • @unshibe
It really looks like the custom rig skeleton has r15 joints bends and the r6 leg limbs follows the r15 knee bends, I didn’t know you could cheese the exporter plug-in by making the original skeleton copy the loc and rot of a custom rig- so it exports poses of the og rig copying r6 ik rig kind of like mojang style. This walkthrough still holds up today for following step by step and more “show don’t tell” by showing how it works. Thanks so much for the tuto you’re a life saver, you are so nice

very good tutorial. one question tho: for some reason when i move the rig (from the main controller), the actual models for the limbs move 2x further than i want them too. its weird but yeah. edit: nvm i fixed it its cuz i had the rotation of the rig a different way or whatever its hard to explain.

tysm for this tutorial! new sub earned.
  • @Pieveloper
Yo had a question about the legs and arms. when rotating the the Main Controller, all of the body parts seem to rotate aswell, I'm wondering if theres a way to stop the arms and legs from rotating on its own when rotating the master control.
  • @m3tan00b8
I'm back and with a question, I'm not sure why but if i move the leg and use paste pose in reverse it works, but if i use the fibula bone, it doesnt work. How can i fix it?

I don't have the thing in blender when I animate, where you can call your animation and click on shield. Also in the corner in animation menu Summary doesn't appears, I mean I don't have word Summary, Lower Torso and etc, even if I followed each step in video (I using blender 3.5)

  • @NetronTheGreat
help me please, when I do S+X+0 to straighten bones, one of my other leg bone just moves out the body, help. EDIT: fixed it I just selected both of them with symetry off and did that through the entire vid, sorry

So, how do you export this? I've made my animation but its not exporting at all, it says the keyframes were copied and all that stuff, but when I paste it does nothing. Edit: Nvm, I just unachored all the parts unless the primary and it worked, I'm dumb 👍👍
  • @weebtrash1227
I've had a problem with importing the anims into studio, it picks up everything but the legs and leaves them stiff and dragging along the torso. Do you know any fixes for this?
  • @prithom5991
hey nkie the feet bone dont rotate the leg for some reason
  • @typicalnubb8753
Just a quick question(sorry if its a dumb question) but how do u add that texture to the rig at 0:03 ? I am using the blender rig exporter plugin on roblox studio to export rig and I have the png file for the same texture and have applied the png to the basecolor of the material properties for the rig, but it is not working. However in this video, it doesnt look like u used uv mapping. Thanks. Edit: nvm I think I found out how
  • @luvasmerde337
I watched this more than one hundred times prolly for rigs
