There was an update in NFS Unbound that improved drifting significantly, but I did not have enough progress in the game to get the proper drift tires. You also need to be in online mode to access the new drift tires, not singleplayer. This video is for entertainment only (meme video btw).

To disable cartoony effects go into customisation and then go go onto tags and finally choose the classic one at the top

Drift Pro Tires, Drift Pro Events, and Drag Racing events are Online-only. Story mode players can't access any of it whatsoever unless something's been patched, and knowing EA, that hasn't happened.

multiplayer have pro drift tires, and singleplayer dont have pro tires -
The new Drift Handling is multiplayer only, not sure if you did start playing multiplayer but if you go to multiplayer you might start having alot of money (1.000.000 i think).
With all of that money you can just upgrade your garage to unlock Sport,Pro,Super and Elite parts.
Now that you've upgraded your garage to Elite you have now access to the new Drift Handling, go to tires, and look for the tire named "Elite Drift Pro Tires", it costs 20k. And boom there you go, CarX drift physics in Unbound. -
