  • Lionsteel is my new favorite fixed blade company. You get TRC quality, fit and finish at an affordable price. I have five of them 😍
  • @gregblake2764
The designs, fit, and finish of Lionsteel knives are awesome. I paired the M7 with my Benchmade Bushcrafter which I've carried for years. Otherwise I'd go with either the M4 or M5 as a companion to the M7. You really can't go wrong with any of the Lionsteel knives. Thanks for the rundown on the T6.
  • I bought one 3 months ago, and very happy with it. It's an awesome knife for sure! Thanks for the review brother 👍🏻
  • @thecowboy6317
You're one of the best youtubers in the platform, thank you for the awesome and edifying content, God bless
  • @wamps3370
I got the M7, love the finger choil that makes the knife more useable, steel is easier to sharpen, put my own polished edge on it, mounted a tek lok and I've turned it into my EDC! Easy to mount a 'kit' altoids tin to it, small flashlight, extra battery, and ferro rod. In other areas I carry a couple folders and a smaller fixed blade (TRC South Pole) for smaller tasks with premium elmax steel.

Many of the Lionsteel knives without the coatings cans still throw sparks even with the crowned spine. Just have to tilt the knife a little and hit it just below the crowning. Give it a go and see if you can do it. If it scrapes decent make a short on it. Cause I don't think many are aware of this, since when people see a crowned spine they are thinking fire steel is out of the picture. But with Lionsteel they usually have a angle below the crowning so Firesteel works. If not you always have that butt end, but I would hold the knife still and move the Ferro rod and not the knife, for more control on where the sparks go. Keep up the great work.

I’m seeing this vid a little late after you posted, but great review on the knife (Lion Steel has some bangers) and this hydration setup was a nice surprise addition of something I really needed. Thanks Aaron!
  • @swenswenson556
Holy cow!! Was just looking at these two (M7 & T6). Stoked for the review!!!!
  • Great video Aaron. As i mentioned i have the T5 , as a proud owner, and last year i got the M7... Surprisingly the M7 was cheapper than T6 , so i purchased it , for a big hitter n chopper, and it is a monster!!!! Maybe one of my best spend money for years!!!
  • @Gogugogugogu
I have the T5 and love it. Recently I got the FOX Ryu and I am very impressed.
  • @MrDead1975
bought a T5 on your recommendation, really happy with it
  • @longrider42
Yes the joy of living in the Rocky Mountain West. I'm up in Wyoming ;)
  • @wurzelkraxler
Great video (as always). I own all three knives and can only confirm your statements. The T6 covers almost all work in the wilderness.
  • @marvinbrock960
They are beautiful blades for sure! Been wanting one for awhile.. I guess it’s that time!
  • @stefanobaxx7274
Sei bravissimo!Un punto di riferimento per i test delle migliori lame sul mercato
  • @InGratitudeIam
I love all three and use them for different tasks. If you only get one (a disturbing thought) and need a chopper/brute, I'd go with the M7. It's the one that fits a wide range for me and handles so well that other large knives just don't even come close in terms of comfort, ease and balance. I have the small camp/bushcraft knife already dialed in. For me, it's a toss-up between the T5 and a Reiff F4. Life is good! But, if you have a chopper, the T5 is amazing and will serve you well. If you need a tactical steak knife, get a White River Jackelope. :)
  • @ico7909
The Becker bk2 ....often replicated never duplicated. Great review if I ever up grade it could be this t-6.
  • G'day Aaron, what I especially like is the 3 different designs and steels for each size. Personally I'd go with the 7 for a day hike or overnighter, paired with a 4 incher of some description and leaving a hatchet or machete behind. And the 5 or 6 deeper into the wilderness paired with a said hatchet or machete. In either case a saw will come along too. I reckon the further out you go, the more prepared you need to be with a larger primary and a proportionately competent back up, regardless of weight. These aint particularly inexpensive, but all things considered fair enough I'd say. Thanks for the vid mate, I really enjoyed the look in use and comparison across the range. Cheers Duke.
  • @BD-dr1hw
I have a Kur and a B35 for EDC, and the T5 (Camp Knife) and M7 (Survival Knife). Thanks very much for this review! The T6 is tempting for the steel, but I agree - the T5 and M7 are always going to be better choices, particularly for the price. BTW, I don't think the T6 is as good-looking; in fact, I kinda assumed it wasn't a Molletta, but it looks like I was wrong on that.
  • Hey Aaron. I have the T-7 and the T-6 in K490. I love the design and feel of it, but to be honest, I've never used it. At the moment, I have 30 fixed blades in which I've downsized from 60. I tend to gravitate to other knives for my backcountry excursions. You're absolutely right when you said it fits somewhere in between. Thanks Brother, GB
