NOTE: There are a couple of small errors noted by pop-up messages within the video (at 7:53 with Wiener genotyping, 13:45 for "heterozygous vs. "homozygous," and 23:54 for saying "D-negative" when I meant "D-positive.").

This video podcast, recorded in March 2012, covers the basic instructions on how to navigate, interpret, and understand antibody identification panels. I make a valiant effort to take the mystery out of antibody panels and help you figure out a systematic way to approach them.

Hi! I am always intimidated in Blood Bank especially when dealing with multiple antibodies. I get paranoid!!! :-( Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Visual aids and explanations are awesome!
